We already have discussed that before. The special thing about the "trucks" for the German Post was, that they, and only they, were allowed to have back side windows. The general requirement has said (cancelled since 2004): no back side windows, no back seats, no possibility to mount back seats, a load bed and maybe some more regulations, I just cannot find the old law-text. And you weren't allowed to tow trailers at weekends, this I remember, too. @andrepa, @Ralph, @robi and the other Germans here: hat jemand die Vorschriften bezüglich der bis 2004 zulässig gewesenen "Leicht-LKW" auf PKW-Basis griffbereit oder weiß, wo man sie nachlesen kann? -- Last edit: 2013-05-10 20:52:44 |

1200 with a 1300-bumper, not a 1300. Odd: version for the Deutsche Bundespost, but civil plates. To start hardcore-nitpicking: these postal cars had a registration as a truck. Until 2004 it was possible for the next, private owner (they sold out the old cars and other stuff by auctions), to keep this registration - and save tax with that. |

As it seems to be the same van, we don't have here Ford at all. But I still would like to know, if the Ford 1 1/2 ton Panel truck wasn't assembled in Germany. And if yes, under which name, as the American systematics weren't used here. |

| Mitsubishi Fuso Canter Lady Dragon 2 (1993) | No (never seen this van here, and the HiAce was sold here all the years). I'd rather go for Mitsubishi Fuso. | 2013-05-10 12:09 | |

Yes (the bumper is wrong, from a 1300/1500), but I'm very puzzled now. It is clearly the version for the Deutsche Bundespost with this colour sheme -but it has regular plates (o.k. maybe movie-fakes) and not the "BP". As it's a 1968+ car and this movie is from 1969, it's far too new for already being sold an used car to a private person. And the Bundespost had own garages, where they have mounted original parts and not this wrong bumper ![]() |

Well, these goodies are wooden steering wheel, chrome-wipers and mirrors, means nothing. It's very popular -up to ridicoulous- to pimp with such stuff a classic car into a "real classic", so looking older, than it is. So I'm still for a 80ies 12 Spider. |
