Lancia Gamma Coupé [830 AC]
Hamish Macbeth (1995-1997)
it looks like that Japanese lookalike thing... Don't know what Japanese brand it was, but the Gamma Coupé was copied! 2009-02-17 10:07
1982 Lancia Gamma 2500 I.E. 2a serie [830 AB.2/2]
The Godfather: Part III (1990)
Nice car! I prefer the 2nd series. It had odd features like a rev counter with 1000 - 2000 - 3000 etc instead of the classic 10 - 20 - 30 etc x 100 2009-02-17 10:05
1976 Lancia Gamma 2500 1a serie [830 AB.0]
Trois hommes à abattre (1980)
I learned to drive with my mother's Gamma 2500 IE. You had to straighten the wheels before turning off the engine as to prevent the distribution belt to slip due to cold oil in the steering servo.... The fact that the steering was driven by the distribution belt caused the ruin of many Gamma's. If you knew how to live with its flaws the Gamma was an amazing car. The Lancia importer told me his most sattisfied customers were Gamma owners, as were the less happy ones!

This one here is a first series!

Lancia Flavia Sport Zagato [815]
Un homme et une femme (1966)
The shape of the Sport is quite special... I looked at it for hours and hours and it became more interesting by the minute! The front is magnificent, as is the rear in my opinion. 2009-02-17 09:51
1962 Lancia Flaminia Coupé Pininfarina
Mission: Impossible (1966-1973)
I think it's a 2.5 has it has no 3B badge on the bonnet. The bumper overriders are aftermarket ones and the front wheel is missing its trimmings! 2009-02-17 09:47
1957 Lancia Flaminia
Teorema (1968)
Probablement une 2.8l vu le cligno sur l'aile AV. 2009-02-17 09:45

1963 Lancia Flaminia 2.5 Berlina
Histoires extraordinaires (1968)
Certianly not a 2.8 has it lacks the 2.8 badge behind the FLAMINIA on the boot. 2009-01-21 08:09
1960 Lancia Flaminia Convertible 2.5
Lettere di una novizia (1960)
It's certainly not a 3C has it has no "3C" badge on the air scoop. 2009-01-21 08:08
1960 Lancia Flaminia Convertible 2.5
Lettere di una novizia (1960)
It's a 2.5 model. The 2.8 model had different indicator lights between the two big dials. 2009-01-21 08:07
1967 Lamborghini Miura P400
La leçon particulière (1968)
It's exactly the same Miura as used in the movie "l'Homme Orchestre", as it has the same Lamborghini sticker on the sides. I belonged to a doctor in Nice. 2008-08-21 12:24
1963 Lancia Flaminia 2.5 Berlina
Histoires extraordinaires (1968)
It's a special version made for the police. It's a 2.5 with 3C carb setup. Very rare! 2008-04-16 16:03
1959 Lancia Flaminia Coupé
8½ (1963)
I think this must be a prototype or something as the dashboard is compeletely different in style and layout compared to the production model. 2007-06-08 08:48
1962 Morgan Plus 4 Supersports
Les aventures de Michel Vaillant (1967)
Reims circuit again. The Bret Oil ad is still visible today. It's worth a visit as the Circuit de Reims is still existing today but not in use anymore. It's a beautiful site. 2006-12-21 12:05
2006-12-21 12:01

1967 Volvo 1800 S
The Saint (1962-1969)
The makers asked Lancia first if they could provide a car for free, but lancia refused!!!! That's why a Volvo was used instead. 2006-12-20 16:57
1971 Jaguar XK-E 4.2 Hearse Series II

1974 Lamborghini Urraco S
Top Gear (2002-2013)
Don't watch this "£10,000 supercar" challenge if you like 70's Italian "spuercars" as the cars are really described as being badly made junk! 2006-12-20 16:18
1962 Triumph TR4

1959 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider [101.03]
Melodie en sous sol (1963)
If you watch the film you can clearly see that this Alfa has an optional Nardi steering wheel. 2006-12-20 16:03
1956 Jaguar Mk.I 2.4 Litre
The Avengers (1961-1969)
The correct denomination would be Jaguar 2.4! 2006-12-20 15:36

It's a Dnepr! A russian copy of the BMW flat twins. 2006-12-20 15:30
1958 Maserati 250F
Clarkson: No Limits (2002)
Fangio had the ride of his life in such a 250F on the Nurburgring in 1957. He caught up Hawthorn and Collins who were unaware that the "old man" was still in the race! The 2 Britons were exchanging signs and smiling at each other when suddenly Fangio's Maserati was close again. When Fangio passed Collins he drove on the kerb, sending stones and other debris in Collin's face who broke a glass on his goggles! Fangio declared after the race he drove over his limit, a feat he would never do again. 2006-12-20 14:16
1967 Aston Martin DB6 MkI
Celebrity (1998)
I prefer the DB4 as it's lighter and pure. The DB6' s tail looks too heavy and the TR4 taillights are a bit cheap on such a car. 2006-12-20 13:32
1962 Triumph TR4
Comptes à rebours (1971)
I bet it boils in the summer! 2006-12-15 14:31
1962 Triumph TR4
Les cinq dernières minutes (1958-1996)

1957 Jaguar Mk.I 3.4 Litre
The Champions (1968)
The 3.4 or as it was later called the MK1, has two body types. The 2.4 has covered rear wheel spats and a smaller (XK 140 or 150) grill while the 3.4 had open rear wheels and a larger grill to provide better cooling. It's in a MK1 3.4 that Mike Hawthorn (F1 World Champion 1958) killed himself! The road-holding with it's narrow track was... special! 2006-12-12 14:37
1961 Jaguar E-Type Open Two Seater Series I [850012]
The Italian Job (1969)
The black E-Type was one of the very first ones built (or was it this red one). The car was restored and still exists today. 2006-12-12 14:30
1962 Aston Martin DB4 Convertible
The Italian Job (1969)
Anyway, using an Appia Vignale is just as criminal as using an Aston... I love that movie but the way the cars are smashed (Lambo, Jaguars ...) is always a nightmare! 2006-12-12 14:28
1962 Fiat 2300 S Coupé Ghia
The Italian Job (1969)
Was delivered standard with a beautiful Nardi steering wheel. Abarth had stuff to tweak the engine too. 2006-12-12 14:23
Alfa Romeo 450
Il sorpasso (1962)
hmm... yes.... 2006-12-12 14:21
1961 Lancia Appia Sport
Il sorpasso (1962)
There's also an Appia Sport and Flaminia Coupé visible in a movie with Sofia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni. She drives her husband's Rolls Royce in the streets of Rome and at a certain point she follows a silver coloured Appia Sport. I'm wondering if these very rare cars appear unintentionally or if they're used to promote the "italian design"... 2006-12-12 14:20
1956 BMW 507 Touring Sport
Fantômas (1964)

1929 Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A Castagna Transformable
Sunset Blvd. (1950)
The "Driver" couldn't drive the car, so it was pulled in all the scenes of "Sunset Boulevard"! 2006-12-12 12:44
Duesenberg J
Giant (1956)
Woaw.. A Duesy! That's the absolute TOP! 2006-12-12 12:40
1956 BMW 507 Touring Sport
Le corniaud (1965)
Same car used in another "Louis de Funès" movie called "Fantomas"! The BMW is extensively used and has the same colour, and the same white wall tyres... Could it be random to see such a rare car in 2 different movies with exactly the same caracteristics? This one has a hard top however.

Nice car, but I HATE that disgusting big white "very German Mercedes-like" steering wheel! It looks like a beautiful Italian Classic design, but the Germans added a lot of heavy trim and ugly accessories!

Alfa Romeo 450
Il sorpasso (1962)
No, Lancia Aurelia B24 series 2 2006-12-12 12:27
1959 Lancia Appia GTE
Rocco e i suoi fratelli (1960)
2006-12-12 12:21
1950 Berliet GLC 6 R
Le baron de l'écluse (1960)
The Lancia Aurelia B20 6th series in the background again. Due to the rarity of this car, it must be "arranged" to have that car there! 2006-12-12 12:20
1957 Lancia Aurelia GT 2500 6a serie [B20S]
Toi et moi (2006)
pilou wrote Yes , it is a Lancia Aurelia B20 my guess is one of the later cars ca 1957( VI serie) a 2500 GT Gran Turismo .It has a hood with an airscoop identical to the B24 spider hood .

The 4th series had no smaller side windows but just a plain large window (tinted on the 4th series only)

1957 Lancia Aurelia GT 2500 6a serie [B20S]
Le baron de l'écluse (1960)
6th series (wheel covers and small side windows) 2006-12-12 12:11
1957 Lancia Aurelia GT 2500 6a serie [B20S]

2006-12-12 12:06
1963 Lancia Flavia Convertible 1.8 Vignale [815]
2006-12-12 12:02
