A DB5 should have 3995cc not 3700cc. DB4 had 3670cc and from 1962 had faired-in lights etc like DB5. CXC xxxK plates issued May-July 72 from Solihull, the posh neighbour for Birmingham. Factory Austins usually had Birmingham plates with O as middle letter, but Rover used XC Solihull plates. I had a rental for a fortnight recently - very competent and well thought-out design, pleasant to drive. But it was a 3 door and had the same problems of a claustrophobic rear cabin and minimal rear vision as the 3 door Astra ingo likes so much.
