And things get more complicated for hybrid referencing - we have loads of Renault 4 GTLs as a distinct model and loads more as 4 with GTL as added info. 1964 Sunbeam Alpine Series IV Dio, come ti amo! (1966)	S4 or S5. I can't see SUNBEAM lettering around grille opening (which if I were confident that they would be visible in those lighting conditions would suggest S5). 1974 Ford Escort RS 2000 MkI The Fast and the Furious 6 (2013)	Minichamps have announced replicas of this car for release in 1:18 and 1:43 scale around November 2013. Their description is a 1970 RS1600 FAV (= Ford Advanced Vehicles) with photos of a real car in this livery with YLV 7J plates. As we have other info in these comments about the sourced cars and the RS1600 was not actually launched until Jan 71, I don't think we need to change our referencing, just note what Minichamps say. YLV 7J does not seem to have a live DVLA record, but HPicheck says it is an undated Escort 1300 GT with 1933cc, so a mongrel. YLV 7J was issued in Liverpool in May 1971.	2013-06-17 16:31

1981 Vauxhall Cavalier GL MkII Floodtide (1987-1988)	Unfortunately, A628 HLK comes up as a 1983 Granada Ghia X, so a switched plate - surprising as this is Brook's own car and appears in every Series 2 episide (apart from ep2.02 which is totally French locations) so does a lot of travel on UK public roads onscreen. Appears to have all the early GL elements over L including rear wiper and velour trim, but this to be confirmed when full picture collection assembled.	2013-06-17 01:45

1968 Austin Mini Cooper S MkII [ADO50] Play Misty for Me (1971)	1968+ Mk2 for lights, bumper and top-hinged number plate mounting (which also looks modified for US/CDN). Smells Cooper or probably Cooper S (I think 2 filler caps visible), and could be Austin or Morris (but not Mini as make in Mk2 era). Problem - AFAIK no Mk2 Minis of any type sold in US due to 68+ safety and emissions restrictions; however they did continue in CDN, so this might be a CDN import (or a personal import from anywhere else). The XYY Man (1976-1977)	@sandie - quick comment from elsewhere. Looks as if Bulman about to be re-issued mid-July in S1 and S2 DVD sets - see Amazon for info. I might get them eventually for old times sake, and could do them for imcdb but perfectly happy if you want to take the lead on them. XYY Man very disappointing now - has dated badly, crap storylines, cardboard characters, and Bulman at this stage is portrayed as just a weird nasty detective - you're not missing much. Pity because I remember being hooked on it as a kid - some old series (Sweeney, Sandbaggers, Travelling Man) still keep their magic, but others don't. Still going to do XYY Man for imcdb - a fair few vehicles to post - once I get Floodtide and a couple of other things wrapped up.	2013-06-16 14:48
