Another Halftrack in this Movie, Sd.Kfz. 251/1, I suppose.

1945 Bohemia OT 810
Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001)
This Halftrack is a Schutzenpanzerwagen Sd.Kfz. 251, I suppose.

The 250 has a nother flank-layout, not that straight line.

It could be 251/22 with 7,5 cm Pak 40 (anti-tank-cannon)

front of the fender seems not to be correct.

greek partisans used it all the time and the opponent of the hero was often riding that truck.

the grille and shape of the nose: saurer, hm?

but I think: a post-war-saurer.

on the other hand:
this trucks of switzerland were extremly successfull und built under license in many other countries.

I saw saurer or derivates in formerly yugoslavia.

I do not trust that star. very short nose for a big nercedes truck of this era. strange shape.
