| 1960 Mercury Park Lane Four-Door Hardtop Cruiser Catch Me If You Can (2002) |

| 1979 Yamaha XT 500 Père et maire (2002-2013) |
could be a yamaha xt 500. built first in the late 1970ies. really great enduro. maybe the image shows a smaller version (350?), but I think: yamaha XT is right. :-) der krusche -- Last edit: 2006-04-25 18:53:24 |

| Hanomag Sd.Kfz.251 Ausf.C Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001) |
Another Halftrack in this Movie, Sd.Kfz. 251/1, I suppose. Machine Gun mountet, a second one should be on the rear side. The Tool-Boxes at the flank are good to see. correct front of fender, as I saw in my books. background-vehicel. :-) der krusche |
2006-04-25 17:57 | |
| 1945 Bohemia OT 810 Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001) |
This Halftrack is a Schutzenpanzerwagen Sd.Kfz. 251, I suppose. The 250 has a nother flank-layout, not that straight line. It could be 251/22 with 7,5 cm Pak 40 (anti-tank-cannon) front of the fender seems not to be correct. :-)) der krusche |

| 1939 OM Taurus Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001) |
greek partisans used it all the time and the opponent of the hero was often riding that truck. the grille and shape of the nose: saurer, hm? but I think: a post-war-saurer. on the other hand: this trucks of switzerland were extremly successfull und built under license in many other countries. I saw saurer or derivates in formerly yugoslavia. I think, the CABIN can tell what it is. who knows? :-) der krusche |

| 1944 Škoda G-13 Sd.Kfz. 138/2 Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001) |

| Made for Movie Mercedes-Benz LG3000 Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001) |
I do not trust that star. very short nose for a big nercedes truck of this era. strange shape. the cubic cabin seems beeing the style of a L 4500 from 1945. (too large split screen.) I think: new built in the old style. :-) der krusche |

If you had a original stutz bearcat from 1914, would you race it in a movie? I would not. well, I miss the running board. the headlights are very big. but it is similar - so if it were built nowadays, the stutz could have been the model. :-) der krusche |
