I'm perplexed a bit. In N.America, these were badged as both a Dodge and plymouth, the main difference being taillights.The Lambdas I've seen offered for sale in the Philippines on advertising sites mostly had the taillights used on the dodge version in the US.This has the taillights used on the Plymouth. There aren't many older cars in Florida anymore. I've checked the ads from various areas of the state and the number of results is very small. There are lots of hurricanes, which have wrecked many cars, plus the salt water and humidity causes rust.California still has many older cars but yes, they are US-spec, meaning big bumpers and lots of emissions controls. California is much dryer and that coast doesnt have the hurricanes,just mudslides and wildfires.Arizona is less populated so fewer cars.same with Nevada, which can be a good place for rust free cars.Texas has good cars as long as you stay away from the ocean,which is hurricane-prone.Texas has a lot of pickup trucks,which is a growing movement in the collector scene. I heard that people in Ireland often like to buy LHD classic cars from California. |

really, German cars weren't bad. VW Beetles are still plentiful.In the salt-using eastern states theres still a decent supply of W123 Benzes,but very little of anything else. French cars are thought of as being poorly engineered and unreliable.Americans have the same perception about Fiats, too, but because they own most of chrysler they found a way to re-enter the US market. |

I'm in Michigan and rust is a problem here.I still see these, and even more Lesabres.Most are rusty, but still running. Actually, the 1990 Toyota pickups rusted worse than anything here, so those are very few and far between now.Corollas from the same era are rare now, having crumbled away from the road salt. |

Many of us here in America are very tired of his non-stop USA bashing.If he wants to be a far left-winger, thats fine. But the things he says against his own country get to be a bit much.I'm not happy with the more Euro-centric direction the country is headed in these days, but I won't speak as poorly of my nation as he does.Plus, the fact that he loves Cuba so much concerns many of us here. |
