| 1956 Plymouth Savoy [P-28] Police Academy 6: City Under Siege (1989) | Looking at the 2-color combination, I would rather say a Savoy (series P-28). Belvedere had a more complicated one. | 2007-02-04 13:17 | |
| 1951 Studebaker Commander State Starlight Coupe The Buddy Holly Story (1978) | I would say a 1951 Studebaker. Not sure of the series, but it's a Starlight Coupe. | 2007-02-03 22:49 | |

| 1951 Chrysler Windsor De Luxe Convertible Coupe [C-51-2] Ça va barder (1955) | All right, you must be right! | 2007-02-01 19:33 | |
| 1951 Chrysler Windsor De Luxe Convertible Coupe [C-51-2] Ça va barder (1955) | Looking at the grille, I really believe it's a 1952 Chrysler. In 1951, there was a chromed part under the front lights, between the two horizontal lines. It seems to be painted her, like in 1952. Beside, the chrome trim on the rear wing (straight horizontal line) looks more like of a 1952 Chrysler than of a 1951 (in 1951, there was a curve part near the door). | 2007-02-01 13:28 | |
| 1949 Chevrolet Styleline De Luxe Sedan [GK 2103] The Hours (2002) | Chevrolet Styleline DeLuxe sedan, 1949 or 1950. | 2007-02-01 13:18 | |

| 1950 Plymouth De Luxe 3-Passenger Coupe [P-19] The Buddy Holly Story (1978) | It's not a Chevrolet. It could be a 1950 Plymouth Standard DeLuxe Six Coupe (P-19). | 2007-02-01 07:39 | |
| 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport [2454] The Buddy Holly Story (1978) | Yes, 1957 Bel-Air Del Ray Hardtop Sport Coupe (series 2400 C) | 2007-02-01 07:30 | |
| 1951 Chevrolet Styleline De Luxe Sedan [2100 JK] The Buddy Holly Story (1978) | Not 1949 but 1951. Styleline DeLuxe sedan (series 2100 JK). | 2007-02-01 07:29 | |
| 1947 Buick Super Ça va barder (1955) | 1947-1948 Buick. Interesting genuine factory made two-tone paint. | 2007-01-31 08:36 | |
| 1951 Chrysler Windsor De Luxe Convertible Coupe [C-51-2] Ça va barder (1955) |
Chrysler. I would say a 1952 New-Yorker convertible coupe, but I'm not sure. The last picture of the small pictures series is not of the same car. |

| (archived) 1936 Pierce-Arrow Model 1601 Metropolitan Town Brougham by Brunn [1601] My Man Godfrey (1936) | I don't know, I would have said a Lincoln K or the late 30's, but it's just a guess, I can be wrong. | 2007-01-29 23:48 | |
| 1953 Buick Super Riviera Four-Door [52] Du rififi chez les hommes (1955) | I agree, I did not see the horizontal chromed line on the rear wings. It is a Super. | 2007-01-28 22:12 | |
| 1946 Chrysler Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004) | It's a Chrysler. As for the year, 1946, 47 or 48? | 2007-01-28 11:08 | |
| 1950 Ford De Luxe Fordor Sedan Streets of Fire (1984) | Model seems to be DeLuxe 4-door sedan. | 2007-01-27 22:48 | |
| 1953 Ford Customline Two-Door Sedan Streets of Fire (1984) | Model seems to be a Customline 2-door sedan. | 2007-01-27 22:47 | |
| 1957 Ford Customized Streets of Fire (1984) |
I first thought of a Continental too, but I now I would say a 1957 Ford, like car nerd and Firebird86. To me, the top of the wings above the front lights are too square for a Continental. Anyway, if it's a Continental, it's a shame! ![]() |

| 1950 Ford De Luxe Fordor Sedan Streets of Fire (1984) | Not a Studebaker, but a 1950 Ford! | 2007-01-27 21:05 | |
| 1953 Ford Customline Two-Door Sedan Streets of Fire (1984) | This not a 1952 Ford, but a 1953. | 2007-01-27 21:03 | |
| 1941 Graham Hollywood Sedan Streets of Fire (1984) | I agree with Yvon52 and Skid, it's not a Cord, but a Graham. Certainly a very rare car. | 2007-01-27 10:50 | |
| 1951 Studebaker Streets of Fire (1984) | I would say 1951. | 2007-01-26 23:09 | |
| 1951 Mercury Convertible (Custom) Streets of Fire (1984) | Modified 1949 or 1950 Mercury | 2007-01-26 23:08 | |
| 1959 Ford Fairlane Two Door Sedan [64A] Streets of Fire (1984) | 1959 Ford Fairlane | 2007-01-26 23:00 | |
| 1953 Ford Streets of Fire (1984) | Ford I would say. | 2007-01-26 22:59 | |
| 1953 De Soto Firedome V8 Streets of Fire (1984) |
I'm sure it's a DeSoto, I'm sure it's a Firedome (V for V8, only available in this series then), but for the year, I'm not sure. I would say 1953. -- Last edit: 2007-01-26 23:06:40 |

| 1950 Oldsmobile 76 Convertible Coupe [3567X] Du rififi chez les hommes (1955) |
You'll see on the first image of this page a 1950 Oldsmobile 76 Club Sedan: no chrome trim on the front wings and doors. Like on all 1949 models. http://www.oldsads.org/postcards.htm?tid=65&image=974 |
2007-01-26 09:30 | |
| 1954 Nash Rambler Cross Country Station Wagon [5428] Du rififi chez les hommes (1955) | In 1954, I would say Nash as the make and Rambler as a model. | 2007-01-26 09:23 | |
| 1950 Buick Super Convertible Coupe Dynaflow [56-C] Du rififi chez les hommes (1955) | I agree with wrenchhead. Just one thing: in 1950, no Century line. This name appeared only in 1954. | 2007-01-26 09:19 | |
| 1941 Oldsmobile Special [60] The Falcon in Mexico (1944) | I believe the other pictures show two different cars. Both are 1941 Oldsmobile (I don't know why I've thought Pontiac at first), The one with the black tyres has a fastback body, the one with the white tyres has a trunkback body. | 2007-01-25 22:18 | |
| 1950 Buick Super Convertible Coupe Dynaflow [56-C] Du rififi chez les hommes (1955) | Dynaflow is a specification of the car, and does not take part of the name. It's a 1950 Buick Super 50 Convertible Coupe. | 2007-01-25 22:11 | |
| 1947 Buick Du rififi chez les hommes (1955) | Buick, 1946, 47 or 48. | 2007-01-25 21:02 | |
| 1949 Jaguar Mk.V Du rififi chez les hommes (1955) | Jaguar? | 2007-01-25 20:59 | |
| 1950 Buick Special [40] Du rififi chez les hommes (1955) |
1950 Buick I would say, a Special 40 or a Super 50. -- Last edit: 2007-01-25 22:19:09 |
2007-01-25 20:58 | |
| 1953 Buick Super Riviera Four-Door [52] Du rififi chez les hommes (1955) | 1953 Buick, I would say a Special DeLuxe 40 sedan. | 2007-01-25 20:57 | |
| 1950 Oldsmobile 76 Convertible Coupe [3567X] Du rififi chez les hommes (1955) |
Looking at the chrome trim on the rear wings, I would rather say a 1950 Oldsmobile Futuramic 76 Convertible coupe. I think that on 1949 models, the "sabots d'aile arrière" (I don't know the name in english) were larger. -- Last edit: 2007-01-25 22:19:42 |

| 1954 Hudson Jet Liner [1C] L'homme et l'enfant (1956) | Hem…This page is rather for the black car on the right. The 1953 Ford has already its page. | 2007-01-25 09:20 | |
| 1954 Hudson Jet Liner [1C] L'homme et l'enfant (1956) |
I think you may be right. I wonder if the rear window is not too large for a 1949 DeSoto. |
2007-01-23 23:15 | |
| 1962 Volkswagen Convertible [Typ 1] Chances Are (1989) | Two Ford in the background, 1963 on the left, 1959 on the right. | 2007-01-23 20:46 | |
| 1954 Ford Crestline Chances Are (1989) | Looks like a 1954 Ford to me. A Crestline Sedan? | 2007-01-23 20:42 | |
| 1954 Hudson Jet Liner [1C] L'homme et l'enfant (1956) | I would have said a 1949 DeSoto or Dodge, but I'm really not sure. | 2007-01-21 21:57 | |

| 1959 Buick LeSabre Sedan [4419] Habana Blues (2005) | Not a 1960 Buick, but a 1959, for sure. | 2007-01-19 08:45 | |
| 1946 Chrysler He Walked By Night (1948) | Yes, but you can see 3 horizontal chromed lines under the headlights, like only on Chryslers. | 2007-01-15 17:49 |
