No, sorry that I've changed this without any word - it was just proposition, but will be still Fiat like before. /vehicle.php?id=125255 -- Last edit: 2007-08-31 17:32:10 |

I've seen this site before, well it depends on how you are interpreting the word "brand". For me it can be also a type/model, but if not we should rename also these vehicles: 1. Vans: - /vehicles_make-GAZ_model-GAZelle.html - make GAZel - /vehicle_10588-GAZ-Sobol-2217.html - make Sobol They are nearly identical except that the second one is a bit more luxurious. 2. Trucks /vehicles_make-GAZ_model-3307.html - Sadko Etc. there is a lot of others which we haven't on the site yet. Anyway it means that if GAZ will be manufacture even 100 models of cars (and main difference will be engine or trim level) we will list them all with a new separate makes (plus local versions with the differently 'deciphered' Cyrillic alphabet) - probably not good idea, but it is not my business. -- Last edit: 2007-08-31 17:06:08 |

| Je suis timide... mais je me soigne (1978) | The driver (woman) tried to force hitch-hiker (Pierre Richard) to have sex with her. He didn't want and by chance pressed the lever which lowered the ramp with Fiestas down, cars pulled over to the street then he could escape. | 2007-08-30 19:48 | |
| 1967 Fiat 125 [125A] Shaker Run (1985) | It is Italian (maybe made in Argentina) 125. In Yugoslavia only PF 125p was assembled - CKD (so wasn't exported). | 2007-08-30 19:27 | |

Yes, but it is not so hard to find them on the site even when are listed as GAZ. |

From Germany again: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/GAZ-12_ZIM http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolga_%28Automarke%29 (automarke, but how pics are describe). Netherlands: Link to "www.oldtimernederland.nl" People call them like they want, IXO - do not even know the correct m.y. of Tatra 603 which they make in 1/43, so about Wołga they also can be wrong. On some western markets the badges were probably different and there they had indeed a different make (however even these one from USA and Netherlands had cyryllic GAZ logo). It is not the case of how they were commonly named, but how to list them here on the site. Now some of them are GAZ Volga, some others Wolga or even Wolga GAZ - and all of them are from the same country. /vehicles_make-Wolga.html -- Last edit: 2007-08-30 18:43:59 |

I think the situation of GAZ is a bit different than GM - as everything is made in the same plant and one name belongs only to one model. I agree that all of them should be listed in the same way, especially if badges are cyryllic, but with GAZ as make for me. It's indeed a bit complicated however using names in sort of Volga or Pobieda as independent makes is also not good idea - Volga was a succesor of Pobieda and what with GAZ 69 etc.? On the other hand, maybe I would get rid of the VAZ brand as they manufactured different cars only under one name - Lada (or Zhiguli) same like we don't use MZMA/AZLK for Moskvitches. I hope, my English is understandable. -- Last edit: 2007-08-30 19:04:54 |

| 1972 Fiat 90 NC [X] Tatort - Maria im Elend (1979) | Odd a bit, but less odd than situation when we have some makes listed with capitals some others not. Well personally for me it is also not especially big problem, but perhaps would be better to be consequent. | 2007-08-30 13:08 | |
| 1975 Seat 124 D Fei Ying Gai Wak (1991) | The 3rd thumbnail ('70) I would list rather with this one: /vehicle_125464-Seat-124-D-1971.html | 2007-08-30 12:53 | |
| (archived) Fei Ying Gai Wak (1991) | Rather '75 '131 L' with newer bumper (so different than the another one from 1975 with 4 round headlights = probably '131 E'). | 2007-08-30 12:51 | |

| 1977 Peugeot 504 Je suis timide... mais je me soigne (1978) | Interesting since when this sticker was there. From this angle (and BMW Touring pic) it is a 1975, though the plate says 1977. | 2007-08-30 00:35 | |

01. Seat 131 (seems a '78 or '81), '83 Lada 2107, Opel Rekord E, Seat 131 (from the pic 12) and another Rekord E. 02. Opel Rekord E 03. Seat - can be a 124, 1970 (at least Fiat 124 had similar lights since this year). 04. Seat 124 (maybe the same as 3 or 1968) 05. Opel Rekord E 06. '83 Lada 2107 07. '75 Seat 131 08. Seat 131 09. '81 Seat 131 10. '75 Seat 131 (Fiat=131 Sepcial) 11. Seat 131 probably '81 (they are all painted black - sometimes I can't distinguish details) 12. Left seems early or late 131, the rectangular headlights are small - '75, but bumper is quite big - '81 (maybe unoriginal) anyway it is the same as /vehicle_120992-Seat-131.html On the right a 124 (early one so 1968 if I remember correct - Fiat was 1966), same as here /vehicle_27318-Seat-124-1975.html (1975 is wrong for me) so can be also the same as in pic 4. Will be more easy to add some infos or make comparison when they will be regrouped. -- Last edit: 2007-08-30 01:57:18 |

Not Iveco, because wasn't a make in this time. If this thing /vehicle_122980-Unic-unknown.html was marketed in Germany as Fiat (like Ingo has wrote) the truck from the pic is rather Fiat too (it is the same serie of vehicles) - ok maybe OM, but for sure not both - 'Fiat OM'. Btw. Maybe it is indeed not bad idea to list cars as 'FIAT' instead of 'Fiat'. -- Last edit: 2007-08-29 21:58:13 |
