Daniel Desario's car, I find it a little hard to believe that a supposedly two-year old car (series was set in 1980-81) would be in this rough of condition and the paint oxidized this much already. -- Last edit: 2007-09-16 16:04:37 |

| 1987 Cadillac Brougham Freaks and Geeks (1999-2000) | If this is really a 1983 model, then it is an anachronism 'goof' as the series supposedly occured in 1980-81. | 2007-09-16 15:59 | |

| 1979 Dino 308 GT4 Top Gear (2002-2013) |
from wikipedia... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dino_%28car%29 "Dino was a brand for mid-engined, rear-drive sports cars produced by Ferrari from 1968 to 1976. The Dino brand was meant to be used for cars with engines that had fewer than 12 cylinders, reserving the Ferrari name for the V-12 and flat 12 models. The Dino name was retired after that point, in favour of conventional Ferrari branding. The Dino brand was an attempt by Ferrari to produce a relatively low cost sports car by using components from other vehicles." |

| 1959 Chevrolet Corvette XP-87 Stingray Racer Clambake (1967) |
This is the 1959 XP-87 Stingray racer created by Bill Mitchell. It was a one-of-a kind concept car also used for SCCA racing which would go on to provide the basis for the second generation 1963-67 Corvette styling. This is quite an interesting vehicle, with an interesting story to go along with it. I’m not sure that it should be listed as model year 1959 though, since that could be confusing as it is not technically a 1959 production vehicle. Also, since it was based on the chassis of one of Zora Arkus-Duntov’s defunct 1957 Corvette SS test mules, the argument could also be made that it should be labeled as 1957. Maybe it would be simpler if it were just listed as “Chevrolet Corvette”. This particular car has it’s own Wikipedia page... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corvette_Stingray_%28Concept_car%29 And any number of other external links... http://www.corvettevalley.com/showthread.php?t=6525 http://www.welovecorvettes.com/concept.html http://www.diecastfast.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?page=DCF/CTGY/RV59SR http://www.corvettemuseum.com/library-archives/hof/mitchell.shtml |

Definitely not '58 due to lack of hood louvers and chrome trunk strips. Either a 1959 or 1960. ![]() Too bad they put those ugly-ass aftermarket wheels on this beauty. Also, I don't think it's role in movie really merits 4 stars, more like a 3. |
