There are no less than 4 car chases in this movie, but only the climactic chase is really worth watching as a Cadillac, GMC box truck and a van become entangled in carnage on the freeway. And they don't always need overdone CGI or special effects, which is mainly why the likes of Bullitt, The Seven-ups and Ronin are so appealing .gif ";)") But the scene just lacks any tension for me - a similar "average chase in an average movie" is found in The Recruit for example which managed to salvage more tension using a VW New Beetle! |
