Since these things are coachbuilt, there's barely no ressemblance between the subject and the car pictured in my example when it comes to the "cargo area", or the defunct living room if you prefer. Notice the following details: - wider, chrome line absent tail lights (which could eliminate the Fiat 130); - rectangular, small chrome licence plate's light spots on the upper side of the bumper. Seems pretty close to me. |

This car has the newer grille, displaying a round badge with blue background and "FIAT" written on it, against the previous 4 silver lines badge used till 1999. If you consider that Premios were manufactured here till 1992 and then replaced with imported Dunas (from Argentina) till 1995, this grille, at least, couldn't belong to both sedan versions. However, it's quite easy to just replace the front grilles on theses cars and people usually just do it. Another distinct characteristic between the Uno and Premio/Duna is the third window, narrower on the sedan. But, again, there's not enough focus on the image to point which sort of third window this car has. If we consider the front grill, the only solid evidence about the car's identity so far, it's fair to consider it an Uno 1999. However it could be disputed if someone could actually take a better look at the car on TV. |
