Haunted Spooks (1920)
Raul1983 wrote Spook is/was a racist term and refers to afro-americans or that's what it says on IMDB site.

Oh, I thought it meant ghosts… Haunted and Spooks also mean "Ghostly", that’s why I
thought it was strange to use both words.

Instead of saying "Haunted Spooks" it would be more like saying "Ghostly Ghostly".

Wasn't there only two generations of the LN-Series? And the second gens were very different. What year sounds acurate? I found a shot of a 1979 LN and it looks significantly different. http://www.ama-auctions.com/wpe2A7.jpg

/vehicle_29191-Ford-LN-9000-1979.html
Another 79', but its got a different grill (more chrome).

It a 1976 model, that’s the year Ford changed the turn signals.

That first link you gave… that truck has the wrong grille, that grille didn’t show up
until the ‘90s.

1976 Ford LN-Series
The Golden Child (1986)
Explorer4x4 wrote Very similar to the 1971 Ford LN-9000 in Maximum Overdrive. So it leads me to believe its a early 1970s model.

Yes, but it’s going to be somewhat newer because of the square turn signals…

It’s also the short nose version.

Sorry, no chases. However the Mercedes-Benz gets drive somewhat aggressively and in the parking garage scene, Steve Martin’s

No front fender radio antenna assembly is visible. During the 2000 through 2001 model year, Ford employed a hidden radio antenna to give the Expedition a clean a tidy appearance. ;)

It looks like a perfect square, because it is one. They made it look like the lens and cluster housing were shot out by removing the
housing and lens. The other headlamp is just missing the lens. The front end is riddled with bullet holes, except for the center grille
where the large Cadillac emblem is located (With good product placement, we can’t be having the Cadillac emblem being shot out now can we?)

Yes, but it’s not logical to manufacture two vehicles with the same name, at the same time; like the bigger and smaller Bronco were. The names caused problems with consumers, who would get the two vehicles confused.

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited [WJ]
My Super Ex-Girlfriend (2006)
wickey wrote ooh probably some occasional models?

No, not really occasional models, per say. The Jeep Grand Cherokee "Special Edition" was
made to look like a fake "Limited Edition". (It was a perfect trim level package if you wanted a your Jeep to look like a Limited Edition on the outside, but didn’t care for all the Limited Edition’s gizmos and gadgets, along with the high Limited Edition price tag.

Now the "Columbia Edition" was a different story. It had a look all to itself with a two-tone Clearcoated paint finish. It had Gray Clearcoated front and rear bumpers and door panels and was also equipped with large chrome clad spoke wheels and a sporty interior that had the name "Columbia" embroidered into the seats. The Jeep Grand Cherokee Columbia Edition, also had a brochure attached to the driver’s side seat head rest promoting the Columbia Clothing Company.

1976 Ford Bronco
Brothers and Sisters (2006-2011)
The very first Ford Broncos’ first showed up in the late ‘60s, but they were not considered (full-size) at the time. The (full-size) term came along when Ford introduced the smaller Bronco "II" along side the standard size Bronco to prevent confusion (although it didn’t help much) Ford also added the "II" at the end of the smaller Bronco’s name to help distinguish the two, but again, it didn’t help much.

1966 Ford Bronco (introduced in 1965) the first year for the Bronco.
[Image: 414vz2.th.jpg] [Image: 1a4ym5.th.jpg]

1995 Full-Size Ford Bronco
[Image: mvc002slo4.th.jpg]
This was the typical Ford Bronco of the late ‘80s and mid ‘90s. Although the Bronco "II" was discontinued at the start of the ‘90s due to the Ford Explorer, Ford still recognized this Bronco as (full-size). And so it was still referred to as the (Full-Size Ford Bronco) although it didn’t need to be, there was no need to call it that.

This is a perfect example as to why car companies should not name two vehicles the same name.

GMC Yukon

antp wrote
To take the kids to school, I guess that the women prefer 4-door

While room is a factor, the ease of getting in and out of a four-door SUV is what killed the (full-size) two-door SUVs’, but as I said above, it is extremely plausible for the (full-size) two door Sport Utilities’ to make a comeback. There are a few two-door SUVs’ on the market already (like the Toyota fJ Cruiser and Honda Element) that pose a threat to their four-door counterparts because they solve the second row entry problem by implementing the use of rear half doors like the Chevrolet K5 (full-size) SUV Concept vehicle above.

In a way, I wish my Land Cruiser was just a two-door, because I really don’t need the second row of entry doors… ;)

1979 Ford LTD Country Squire 'Wagon Queen Family Truckster'
Vacation (1983)
modell wrote By the way, if they ever make another Vacation movie, I think the car should be a heavily modified Hummer by making fun of the vehicle's poor gas mileage and sheer size.

I can actually picture in my mind, seeing Clark driving something like that… along with
all the crazy things he would do to it and with it. It would probably get totaled toward
the end of the film, if the Hummer made it that far with the way Clark drives.
