Battle of Britain (1969)
£20,000!, wow, that's a fair penny for a classic - but, given the special quality this classic posesses, wouldn't it go for a little more? 2012-09-23 20:03

At least the VW Kubelwagen (interior shot) looks to be correct. 2012-09-23 20:01

1978 Plymouth Horizon [C2]
Gone in 60 Seconds 2 (1989)
Yep, the Chevy Citation and the Plymouth Horizon - 2 of the 80's more horrid Cars on the road - eventhough I read the Citation wasn't all bad. 2012-09-23 19:58
Canada's Worst Driver (2005-2018) Where are the rest of the Cars?, the Ford Cube Van, the Plymouth Horizon, the Chevrolet Camaro, the Ford Mustang(s), and a few others - maybe these will get added later? 2012-09-23 19:56
1972 Daimler Limousine [DS420]
Canada's Worst Driver (2005-2018)
dsl?, if it's missing trim, it's worthy to note it's merely a stage aspect - part of the scenery - most of the Cars in the Show are background filler, not roadworthy. 2012-09-23 19:55
2009 Dodge Challenger R/T [LC]
Canada's Worst Driver (2005-2018)
I've been watching the show since the Challenger was offered to the contestants, this poor, poor Car, it's hardly recognizable now :( - I think Cars of this Calibre shouldn't be given to Bad drivers. 2012-09-23 19:54
2002 Acura NSX [NA2]
Top Gear (2002-2015)
In lieu of the improved driving physics in GT5, does or, has anyone tried an NSX Honda or Acura to see if they might be able to do a good lap time round the Seca? 2012-09-19 01:17

2000 Chevrolet Malibu
The Expendables (2010)
This example of the Malibu doesn't look right, it's as if it was painted in a glossy-ish Grey Primer, not that it's doing anything, but, maybe it's just me, but, that's the impression I get when looking at this pic. 2012-06-13 20:42
Ducati Desmosedici RR
The Expendables (2010)
(From Wiki):

The Ducati Desmosedici RR is a limited production road-legal version of the Desmosedici MotoGP racebike.

Ducati made 1,500 Desmosedici models for public purchase. The bike was launched at the 2006 Italian MotoGP event.

In 2004, Ducati announced that a low volume bespoke replica of the Desmosedici would be available beginning in 2006. Termed the Desmosedici RR (Racing Replica), it was claimed to be the first true road replica of a MotoGP racing bike. Priority for ordering was given to Ducati 999R owners, with production projected at one bike per day at a retail cost of US$72,500[2] and GB£40,000. The price included a three year warranty and servicing, cover, and a racing kit including a race-only exhaust system, a slip-on muffler, and complementary fuel and ignition mapping in a "race ECU". It also included enough sponsor stickers to fill both sides of the bike.

The bike was eventually launched at the 2006 Italian MotoGP event at Mugello, with production beginning in December 2007 and the first customer orders delivered from January 2008.

The Bike has a 989cc Desmodromic V4 Engine producing 197.3Hp @ 13,800 rpm and 85 Ft/Lbs of torque @ 10,500 rpm. Projected top speed is 190.78 Mph thanks to a 6 Speed Cassette Type Transmission.

Nissan Silvia [S13]
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)
Wiki gives a fairly detailed description of how some Sil-- Cars end up, Usually older model Silvia front ends are mated to 1, or 2 something SX rears - from there you end up with the appropriate Car, Silforty, Sileighty, and the Onevia, which consists of 180SX parts on the front end of an S13 Silvia :) 2011-10-15 10:23
Nissan 180SX [S13]
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)
I would have gone with a 240SX - or a Sileighty - both used similar rear ends/tailights etc - but, I guess I'd need to re-watch this scene to get a look at the front of the Car.
2011-10-15 10:14
1990 Infiniti Q45 [G50]
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)
This could just as easily be the Infiniti - the reason being, this scene was shot in the U.S. if memory serves, so, using a North American spec Car here in background should make sense. It would have been better to have an accurate JDM Car to represent the actual location, but, it wouldn't be cost effective to ship over a RHD JDM Car just for a background element. Cosmetic changes might have worked though...

2000 Honda S2000 [AP1]
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)
Does anyone know if in this movie Suki's Car - the Pink S2000 was "recycled" and added in other movies, you know, like the Supra and RX-7 were? 2011-10-15 10:06
1991 Honda NSX [NA1]
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)
Agreed about the Veilside - you can visit their website and see a Rear Quarter view of a Car much like this one - it doesn't have a rear wing on it, but, it is an NSX :)
2011-10-15 10:04
2003 Acura NSX [NA2]
Fast Five (2011)
G-MANN?, the differences are a little more than just a few Badges. Check it out, the Honda NSX and the Acura NSX weigh differently, and, the Acura is less powerful than the Honda. The engines are the same as are the transmissions, but, ratios for the transmissions are different for both Cars. 2011-10-15 01:47
2002 Acura NSX [NA2]
Top Gear (2002-2015)
Jezza plays with the "Honda" NSX when he was using it on the Playstation - anyone that knows that game knows that the Honda is different than the Acura, especially in the ways of Weight Distribution - I'm sure the lap time would be reflective of that - if you try both in the game, the times can be different. But, then again, real life vs virtual reality?, unless someone has actually driven both Cars (real cars) on this track, well, we'll never know. 2011-10-15 01:45
1992 Acura NSX [NA1]

2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GTS 3G
2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)
dayday?, I think both actors drove to an extent a version of the Cars assigned to their respective characters, mostly though - the "Hero Car" - anything else was handled by Paul n Ty's stunt drivers. 2011-10-07 20:57
2002 Ford F-150 Boss
2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)
There's been some suggestions regarding this particular F series, suggestions that it was the same truck from the first movie only modded slightly and given different wheels and paint. 2011-10-07 20:52
2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser
2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)

1995 Dodge Neon
2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)
Z34teen?, great listing of the Cars mentioned, but, there's just one thing - the Car on the lift?, it's not an Acura, rather it's a Pontiac Sunfire Coupe, possibly 1996 onwards. Trust me one this, once this scene moves along, our characters make their way towards the lift, the Camera shows that it is the Sunfire - closer inspection will confirm it. 2011-10-07 20:50

Mercedes-Benz 300 SL 'Gullwing' [W198]
The Green Hornet (2011)
Since the 300SL "Gullwing" model was introduced in 54 and carried on until 63, is it safe to say this example would be the earlier production (54-58)?, and from what I've found, it is the W198 with the 2995 cc M198 I6 SOHC engine and 4-spd manual. 2011-08-27 18:20
1961 Maserati 3500 GT Spyder Vignale
The Green Hornet (2011)
If it is a 1964 Maserati 3500 Vignale GT, compared to the 3500 Vignale, what makes the two different, searches for the 3500 Vignale look like the Car that's shown here - confirm please?

1937 Lincoln Zephyr
The Green Hornet (2011)
Siding with Commander 57 on this one, it's a 1937 Lincoln Zephyr. Now, that it is, the badge on the grille, on the right side (left looking directly at it) - does this mean this example was equipped with the V-12?, most Cars I found online show this Badge, and, as such, I just wanted to make sure. 2011-08-27 18:09

1956 Chevrolet Corvette C1
The Green Hornet (2011)
Apart from what might be under the hood, looking online for pics of 56 and 57 Vettes, neither look that different - one could even go so far as to say it's either a 56 OR a 57. But, maybe I'm missing something, still, beautiful Car! :)

Shelby Cobra 427 Replica
The Green Hornet (2011)
Does anyone know for sure if this is the genuine article, or, is it one of the many, many kit variants that have been produced over the years? 2011-08-27 17:52
Bugatti Veyron
The Green Hornet (2011)
Since it's introduction, the Veyron was given a Two-Tone colour scheme, the other variants, "Pur Sang", "FBG Hermes" and "Sang Noir" - I want to put this one near the production year of 2005 - it's hard to really peg it though, the 2009 models look pretty much the same. 2011-08-27 17:51
1966 Imperial Crown 'Black Beauty'
The Green Hornet (1966-1967)
A little more digging gave me a result, maybe - 1959-60 Dodge Phoenix?, like I said, a second opinion would be nice :)
2011-08-27 10:08
1966 Imperial Crown 'Black Beauty'
The Green Hornet (1966-1967)
While I don't think it has it's own listing, does anyone know what the White Car is in the background, I was going to guess a later model Dodge Polara. I googled said Car and while the year in question was 1957, the images I found confirmed at least the Front Grille/Bumper design, but, I could be wrong, maybe someone could help me out on that one? 2011-08-27 10:05
2006 Lexus GS 300 [S190]
Edge of Darkness (2010)
Link to "static.cargurus.com" - hopefully this helps clear the confusion - agreed jettalover - the model in question should've been a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu - not the 08 - sorry.
2011-08-22 01:38
2007 Lincoln MKX [U388]
Edge of Darkness (2010)
Next to the Lincoln, that wouldn't be a 2008 Toyota Corolla?, maybe an S? 2011-08-19 21:07
2008 Jeep Liberty Sport [KK]
Edge of Darkness (2010)

2000 Chevrolet Tahoe [GMT820]
Edge of Darkness (2010)
The grille guard is obviously aftermarket - looks good for it though. 2011-08-19 20:59
2006 Lexus GS 300 [S190]
Edge of Darkness (2010)
Ok, now I know it's not much to work with, but, I wanna guess that the Car behind the Lexus is a Chevrolet Malibu - some of you might ask, "How can he tell??", wel, the door mirror for one, and, look at the door handles - check out some pics of the Malibu, namely the 2004-05 model years - you can see the headlight (top bit) - help me confirm my guesses fellow IMCDbs! :)

1976 Plymouth Fury
Beverly Hills Cop (1984)
Cycolac Fan, sometimes the differences with these Cars was mostly a cosmetic thing. In the case of the Monaco and Fury would be the Tailights. One of the two had Amber turn signals inboard of the cluster, the other had all Red lights - a minor difference, but, it's the best one I can recall - watch enough shows from the mid to late 70s where these Cars were everywhere, you'll see what I mean. 2011-07-06 21:28
1984 Plymouth Reliant K
Beverly Hills Cop (1984)
For Beverly Hills, does anyone else think this is soooo wrong?? 2011-07-06 21:23
1979 Chrysler Newport
Beverly Hills Cop (1984)
Pay attention to this scene folks, this Newport is one of the 3 Cars used - it was a Plymouth Gran Fury, possibly late 70's model, in the alley, another whilst backing up, a mid 80s model, and, the Newport as it finished the reverse move. Excellent example of a continuity error :) 2011-07-06 21:22
1983 Ford Thunderbird
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Hey ford guy?, I wanna go with you and say that it wouldn't be a coincidence that the same Thunderbird would be in those canals - I think this is a good example of a continuity error. 2011-03-28 23:24
1980 Ford F-150
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
You know, thinking on it now, and, as I've watched the movie more than once, if you think hard about it, during the time that the scene was set, who's to say how original this particular
F series truck actually is?, I suspect that the Resistance probably got the truck and used several other F series for parts. Honestly, think about it - I mean, sure, having an intact
vehicle would be ideal, but, given what the Resistance had to work with, and, as the future didn't allow for many new vehicles, this could - "could" have been a homemade job. Makes you
wonder if the production team thought along similar lines?
