| 1962 Morris Oxford Series VI [ADO38M] The Great Muppet Caper (1981) | Was cleaning out my hard drive and found this lingering screenshot. Figured I'd throw it up. | 2009-12-26 04:25 | |
| 1955 Austin LD Konga (1961) |
It's an Austin. When Decker opens the back it says "Austin," although I forget where (underneath the doors I think). |

| 1948 Austin FX3 Taxi Konga (1961) | I assume these are taxis. All three that go by in the background are missing the front passenger door for some reason though. | 2009-12-22 05:17 | |
| 1936 Dodge Commercial Panel [LC] Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) |
After some digging I found a photo of the one on display at Disney World. That's me, as a kid, on the running board. ![]() ![]() |

| 1973 Pontiac Grand Am Revenge of the Ninja (1983) | Probably the one front and center and best visible. Use some deductive reasoning. | 2009-12-17 14:08 | |
| 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Joy Ride: Dead Ahead (2008) |
They could've used a mockup for the crash. Why does everyone always assume they use the main filming car for a crash scene? Especially today? The flipped-over Chevelle is probably a junker version fixed up just enough to resemble the main one. Every single time a classic car is totaled in-story everyone becomes enraged without pausing to wonder if they didn't use a less-pristine one for a stunt double. -- Last edit: 2009-12-17 00:33:31 |

I'd need to rewatch the film but I'm pretty certain this is the only really good view we get of it. |

| Unknown The Muppet Movie (1979) |
Indeed, it's done for a gag in which Kermit's bicycle is crushed between the steamroller and paver because he rides between them as they're driving towards one another for some reason. |

| 1948 Dodge Pickup Step-Side North by Northwest (1959) |
Grant is actually in the shot. I'm watching the movie right now. His feet, and consequently his shadow, are offscreen. He walks towards the cars and casts a shadow and interacts with the people getting out of the cars. No rear projection used at all. Also, what is the car behind the Dodge? It isn't listed. |

| 1951 White-Freightliner WF 42 Lightweight COE North by Northwest (1959) |
Also while it may appear this is a tractor truck hauling two trailers, it isn't. Notice the number of axles. It's a three-axle truck pulling a two-axle trailer. Ergo, simple truck. -- Last edit: 2009-11-29 06:12:12 |

| 1951 White-Freightliner WF 42 Lightweight COE North by Northwest (1959) |
Bottom line, the truck has screentime of less than a minute. I don't think we ought to rate vehicles based on how iconic they are - and anyway this truck isn't. The truck is pivotal to the scene itself, yes, but all it does it pull up, stop, and get hit by the plane and then explode. Two stars max. |

| Toyota Land Cruiser [J100] Impact (2008) | They're watching a more faithful adaptation of Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park (where it was a Toyota Land Cruiser, not an Explorer, that ended up treed)! The lost cut Spielberg doesn't want us to see! | 2009-11-19 14:44 | |

On the right is the police car that is pushed over the cliff. It has a different grille from the other police cars and so may not be a Plymouth Fury. Is this the missing AMC Matador mentioned? -- Last edit: 2009-10-12 15:04:17 |
