I was working for the US Army ordnance when these cars were new. Callahan is right, build quality was atrocious. One of ours had the 'Plymouth' badge mounted upside down! 2006-01-24 16:57

1969 Pontiac Tempest Custom Convertible
Mad Max (1979)
Where are the script plates that prove it is a GTO? What makes you believe it is one? All I can tell from the photos is that it is a Tempest/LeMans convertible. I cannot see any identification marks that indicate it having the rare GTO option. What I can see is the stainless trim around the lower edge of the car, which, albeit available on the GTO at extra cost, was rarely (if ever) ordered on these. The wheels are anything but Pontiac, the exhaust end box too. To me, this is a pimped up, molested with poor little Pontiac in the wrong hands, but a GTO? I doubt it. 2006-01-23 12:59

1968 Pontiac Tempest Custom
Magnum Force (1973)
What makes you believe it is a GTO? It has a chrome front bumper and wheel covers instead of body colour bumper and rallye wheels, hence it is a Tempest LeMans. The year is hard to tell, but the wheelcovers indicate it is a 1968.

Early 50s Humber Imperial Hearse. The coachmaker is most certainly Woodall-Nicholson. I have a sales brochure from that time tht has a car very similar to this in it.
