Ford Taunus 17m (P2) Kombi. According to my source (Deutsche Autos 1945-1975 by Werner Oswald) the P3 series estates/wagons where the first ones called "Turnier". All previous German Ford estates/wagons were called "Kombi". Since 1957 it is illegal in Austria to carry passengers in a trailer, hence I don't think the photo is from the Vienna airport. I remember seeing those things in Brussels airport until well into the 80s. But the license plates do not correspond with Belgian ones either. Anyway, the lorry is a Magirus-Deutz Mercur. |
