| 1977 MAN KAT 1 10t 8x8 Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei (1996-2013) | Thinking twice I would say, it´s a Heavy-Duty-Truck based on a MAN-Kat II/III-Chassis with Modifications on the Frame. An Indicator for my assumption is the orange signal lihgt behind the cabin. Another sign is the radiator grill, which was not present on the KAT I - models. | 2011-10-15 20:52 | |
| SAAB 9000 CD Turbo Senna (2010) |
It is the same car. Both scenes are from the 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix and the Saab went to pick up Senna who could not walk on his own. |

| SAAB 9000 CD Turbo Senna (2010) | If it helps identifiying, this was at the brazilian GP 1991, after Senna had to be lifted out of his car. This was the car that drove him back to the pits. | 2011-09-29 07:41 | |

| 1987 Ferrari Testarossa Replica Based on Pontiac Fiero The Mentalist (2008-2013) |
Would say too, it's fake. Looks like the stunt car from Miami Vice. And it resembles a model from the first series because the mirror is mounted on the a-pillar, so if it was real it would be earlier than 1987. In the script for that episode it's called a 1986 Ferrari Testarossa. But honestly i think it's a replica because they also crashed it in that episode. -- Last edit: 2011-07-14 00:25:53 |

| 1977 MAN KAT 1 10t 8x8 Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei (1996-2013) |
Would say too, that's not a KAT1. Looks like it has a grill and wider track and tires, which would mak it a KAT II. And it is definitely not a 10t mil gl, because the bed is much to short. Also the cabin of KAT1 10t mil gl is longer, without the additional boxes behind it. The wheelbase seems to be to short, too. Put in the DVD again and it is #48 which makes it a Grid S1. It features the triple rearlight setup like this one at Le Mans. Come on admins, change it -- Last edit: 2010-12-19 21:21:36 |

| 1982 Nissan Fairlady Z Turbo [S130] In-Car 956 (1987) | Checked it again. Can't be a 935. Those were not racing at Fuji in 1983 or 1984. It is more likely a Fairlady Z Turbo which raced in 1983. | 2010-12-19 19:59 | |
| Grid S1 In-Car 956 (1987) |
I guess it timewarped directly in front of Derek Bell's Porsche ![]() Looking on the entry list of that race (it was 1983), it should be the Grid #48. But the admins seem to be busy, the Commer truck waits to be given a name, too. Source: racingsportscars.net Another picture for comparison is at IMSAblog, the car #3 of Milt Minter and Skeeter McKitterick (you have to scroll down a lot). -- Last edit: 2010-12-19 12:59:47 |
