2006 Renault Grand Scénic Série 2 [J84]
The Sopranos (1999-2007)
antp wrote But both are bigger than the original Espace, which had an incredible space inside compared to its rather small outside size.

Small cars just seem to be getting bigger and bigger. The new Peugeot 307 is massive (and a bit ungainly to be honest).

It's hard to believe they could fit two seats in the back of the Grand Scenic. Some of these family cars seems to be designed for very specific (or narrow) market niches.

The Sopranos (1999-2007)
I watched the scene again, it's very hard to tell exactly, Rosalie's head bobs about in front of the window and you never see the whole outline. When I look at the rear window on the Grand Scenic, it seems hard to believe that someone's head could block it out, but then maybe from an outside perspective. 2007-01-19 15:47

That picture is taken from a completely different angle. It's definetely one of the two, but I still think it's just the regular Scenic. What's the point of the Grand Scenic anyway? Why not just buy an Espace?

Or maybe it's just a Scenic. That window must be pretty small if that woman's head covers up most of it, that probably wouldn't happen in a Grand Scenic. Yes, I think it's the Scenic rather than Grand Scenic.

1989 Cadillac Fleetwood Coupe
The Sopranos (1999-2007)
To be honest I find the old Cadillac naming scheme confusing. Coupe de Ville and DeVille Coupe? And what's the difference between some of the old Eldorados and Coupe de Ville or Series 62s? How are some Fleetwoods that different from Sedan de Villes, unless it's a stretched Fleetwood 75. 2007-01-19 14:24
Harley-Davidson Fat Boy
The Sopranos (1999-2007)
Could someone translate this for me? The Altavista Babelfish translater is a bit rubbish, it translates "Fat Boy" as "Conceited person Servant boy". 2007-01-19 13:56
2001 Chevrolet Malibu
The Sopranos (1999-2007)
This car appears in the extended dream sequence Tony has while he is in a coma after being shot by the now very senile Uncle Junior. In this dream he is an ordinary travelling businessman who ends up in a case of mistaken indentity. This Malibu is his rental car that appears in a few brief scenes.

From episode 6.7 "Luxury Lounge", used by the two zips who come over from Italy to whack Rusty Milio.

Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic
The Sopranos (1999-2007)
The red bike is used by Vito Spatafore (Joseph R. Gannascoli) in episode 6.8 "Johnny Cakes", he either bought it or maybe borrowed it from his new boyfriend Johnny Cakes.

2006 Renault Grand Scénic Série 2 [J84]
The Sopranos (1999-2007)
If you look at the still, you can just about see a little window that is mostly covered by Rosalie's head (the redhead woman). I think it's likely to be some kind of Renault or maybe a Citroen, this bit was filmed in Paris and Renaults today have seen pretty unconventional designs, this is an odd looking car.

International 4700 Car Carrier
The Sopranos (1999-2007)
I'm quite impressed you got this, consider you can't see much of the cab. This is the scene where Christopher's Maserati (that he bought from Ginny Sack) is confiscated by the U.S. Marshals as part of Johnny Sack's asset seizure. 2007-01-19 12:44
MINI Cooper S [R53]
The Sopranos (1999-2007)
Yes, if you look closely you can see the "S" on the end of the "Cooper" badge.

This car belongs to Julianna Skiff (Julianna Margulies), a real estate agent who Christopher has an affair with, after Tony nearly sleeps with her (he backs away to be faithful to Carmela).

When Tony goes to Las Vegas he is driven around in this post-2003 Lincoln Town Car (you can tell by the hood ornament). Could be a stretch limo but it's impossible to tell for sure.

Harley-Davidson Fat Boy
The Sopranos (1999-2007)

1986 Honda Accord DX
The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996)
My dad once had one of these, it was white and had a snubbed spoiler on the boot. The badge under the tail lights on the right side said 2.0i 4WALB 16v (or something). A lot of Accords of that generation that I've seen in Britain usually have badge saying EX-something. 2007-01-17 23:02
1986 Honda Accord DX
The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996)
Probably just the name of the dealership the car came from. Sometimes car dealers put their own badges on the backs of cars, though I think it usually looks tacky and I wouldn't want it on a car I was buying. 2007-01-17 22:58
101 Ways To Get Fucked Without Having Sex (1998) It's a good thing this isn't a family-orientated site! When I was a kid I had a BMW grille on my bedroom shelf, my dad gave it to me as a memento of the BMW 520i [E28] our family had after it was sold. Though it wasn't a 5-series grille, it was a 3-series grille [E38], I don't where he got it from (maybe from my uncle who used work in a body shop) strange thing really. 2007-01-17 22:54

This site may be very helpful in identifying how old an American car is, but then I think many films uses fake license plates in the way they use fake telephone numbers.

1993 Lincoln Mark VIII
The Sopranos (1999-2007)
With American cars, do the license plates on old cars get replaced with new ones (with the same registration of course) if say, the old one rusts? It's that on this page there's a few 80s cars with the newer styler yellow/white NJ plates, when the 80s ones were blue. I think a lot of the plates on cars in this show are fake (you may notice that various cars use the same registration), but do you sometimes find old cars in the USA with new style plates? 2007-01-17 01:19
