| Lost in La Mancha (2002) |
![]() Archive footage of Orson Welles, who had also tried and failed to make a film adaptation of Don Quixote. Probably impossible to identify the car he's riding in, though. |

| (archived) Clerks II (2006) | I just wasn't sure exactly where we were with this kind of thing, I thought it was allowed as long as the vehicles were 3 stars or more. The homemade go-carts in Little Rascals still remain on this site, I think this issue was discussed recently but I can't find where. I have no idea if it's possible to find a make for these go-carts, although someone must have made them. I do know where they filmed this bit though: http://www.speedzone.com/losangeles/index.html | 2007-08-18 00:55 | |
| Clerks II (2006) |
![]() These go-carts feature in one scene in the movie, Randal and Dante race them around the go-cart track to "blow off some steam" after a humiliating run-in with an old high school classmate (Jason Lee) who has become an internet millionaire, while they are working in a low-wage fast food job. The go-carts appear on screen for about 2 minutes. This scene was filmed at SpeedZone in Los Angeles. http://www.speedzone.com/losangeles/index.html -- Last edit: 2012-03-03 23:47:29 |

| 1977 Buick Century Custom Clerks. (1994) | I think this is actually a 1976 model, check out the 5th thumbnail I posted. I think the '74 model has a different front to this. | 2007-08-17 20:18 | |
| 1994 Acura Integra [DC2] The Flying Car (2002) | Dante's Acura is the car behind the silver Chevrolet Impala. In Clerks he drove a 1974 Buick Century Luxus and in Clerks II he drove a 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera. | 2007-08-17 19:22 | |

Dante Hicks (Brian O'Halloran) and Randal Graves (Jeff Anderson) survey the burnt out Quick Stop convenience store. Randal: Terrorists? (Dante shakes his head) Randal: (slowly realising) I left the coffee pot on again, didn't I? (Dante nods his head) Randal: Shit! Now where am I going to bring chicks to fuck when my mom's home? |

| Kawasaki KZ 1000 Police Sin City (2005) | The Harley that Dudley's posted doesn't look like this bike, look at the thumbnail, the molded windscreen thing at the front (I don't know much about bikes), looks more like the Kawasaki. | 2007-08-15 23:02 | |
| Kawasaki KZ 1000 Police Sin City (2005) | This really should have been identified by now. It's an American police bike and they always seem to use the same kind of bikes, so what is it? | 2007-08-15 22:45 | |

| 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEL [W126] The Great Outdoors (1988) |
I love the entrance of this car (and the character driving it). As Chet Ripley (John Candy) and his family arrive at the holiday cabin in the forest (in the Jeep Grand Wagoneer also listed for this film), we see clips of a shiny new (in 1988) Mercedes S-Class speeding along the country roads towards the forest, accompanied by jazzy saxophone music. Then it pulls up in front of the cabin, the vanity plate ROMAN 1 fills the screen and out steps Chet's brash yuppie brother-in-law Roman Craig (Dan Aykroyd) who has come, uninvited, to join them on their vacation, with his wife (Annette Bening in an early film role) and his two weird twin daughters. During an arguement later on in the film between the two men, Roman declares "I'm the one with the Mercedes!" "Is it paid for?" retorts Chet. It is later revealed that in fact it isn't (or rather Roman is broke). -- Last edit: 2011-03-22 22:06:03 |

| Coles Speedcrane Aliens (1986) | I'd still like someone to identify this, even if it's just background, it's one of the very few real life vehicles in the film. | 2007-08-15 21:28 | |
| 1998 Mercedes-Benz SLK 230 [R170] She's All That (1999) | I was talking about the character rather than the actress. | 2007-08-14 19:06 | |

| 1985 Austin Metro [LC8] The Crying Game (1992) | I agree with everything wrenchhead says. I still think something ought to done about the more extreme examples of background vehicles. | 2007-08-14 16:16 | |

Alright, maybe I was exaggerating, I don't mean to argue, however I don't think I've seen you try to bring other cars back. I remember deleting a few other background cars on The Fourth Protocol page and you didn't say anything about them. -- Last edit: 2007-08-14 16:10:06 |
