1998 Lincoln Town Car Signature Touring Sedan
Taken (2002)
I was wondering if anyone knew what this trim is? (blacked-out bumpers and these rims). Similar to this car that I was having trouble with:

Signature Series model?

1998-2002, or 1999-2002; I'm not sure. Anywhere between those year ranges depending on the trim/VIN. 2009-01-11 20:52

It's quite a grainy shot. All I can really tell is that there is no black trim on the front bumper and the front grill looks to be black, so this is a 2001+ model. 2009-01-11 05:29

You'd be surprised Gag Halfrunt. Older generation Crown Victorias (particularly from the 1995-1997 generation) still tend to come out in movies, sometimes even Caprices. The way I see it is that we will continue seeing 1998+ Crown Vics for at least another 15 years in most mainstream movies. They're cheap and these older models will be more common as they are cheaper to get than newer ones and most people can't tell the difference.

1999 Ford F-Series Super Duty
Vacancy 2: The First Cut (2009)
Ddey65 wrote This looks like a Ford F-Series Super Duty, anywhere from an F-350 to an F-550.

You're right. That would mean it is from the later generation of Super Duty trucks. It is a 1999-2004 model, by what I can see. I can't determine trim, but the grill looks darker, and I would assume it is a Regular Cab model.

1992 Ford F-Series Regular Cab XL
Vacancy 2: The First Cut (2009)
It looks "heavy" enough to be an F-250, but I'm not sure. What about the side mirrors, are they aftermarket? A shot of the steering wheel or third brake light would help narrow down the years further.

But anyways, it's a Regular Cab model in XL trim.

I think it definitely reads Cheyenne, at least judging by the letters visible.

I'm sorry my dear but this is a 1999 model :D The honeycomb grill is a replacement. Using honeycomb grills (which actually were first used on 2001 models) as replacements for older models is quite common in movies and tv shows. As for it not being a police car, I'd be willing to bet that it was at one point a police car. I'd have to see better views of the car to confirm this.

And there are many Crown Vics listed on the site that are not police cars (whether police-package cars or simply not being used as a police vehicle) ;)
