When you buy a used car in Denmark, you can choose whether you just want to change the name on the title or get new plates altogether. In this case, the Mercedes has J-plates, which is a letter reserved for licensed taxies/livery cabs/many kinds of chauffeured vehicles (stretch limos use B-plates) When a used taxi is sold off to private buyers, the buyer needs to change the plates to normal ones designated for private use, which is probably what has happened to this Mercedes. |
