On thing that strikes me is how colorful this automotive scene is. Contrast to today when about 80% of the cars on the road are monotone black, white or silver. |

| 1986 Plymouth Caravelle Sledge Hammer! (1986-1988) |
OK. But I think the '85 had a different grille from the other 3 years. Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" -- Last edit: 2010-06-10 15:47:53 |

| 1975 Mercury Marquis The Six Million Dollar Man (1974-1978) | I don't see the wider under-bumper spoiler of the '78 Fords and Mercurys present, so would limit the range to '75 to '77. | 2010-06-10 15:32 | |
| 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special Brougham The Rockford Files (1974-1980) |
Nice set of photos. (Wouldn't it be great if all the photos on this site were so good!) |

| 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark III [65A] You Got Served (2004) | If that is a high-backed seat I see, this is a '71. | 2010-06-10 15:23 | |
| 1986 Plymouth Caravelle Sledge Hammer! (1986-1988) | Is that a center-mounted brake lamp or just a mark on the wall behind the car? | 2010-06-10 15:17 | |
| 1950 Plymouth Special De Luxe [P-20] I Spy (1965-1968) |
Changing this to 1950 pending any dissent. Despite blurriness, details most closely match a '50 by my eye. Special Deluxe based on bright windshield trim. -- Last edit: 2010-06-10 15:06:45 |

| 1985 Ford LTD Crown Victoria MacGyver (1985-1992) | My screen resolution is poor but the last 2 plate digits on the main photo car seems to read "06" while on the thumbnail, it looks like "76". | 2010-06-10 01:00 | |
| 1950 Plymouth Special De Luxe [P-20] I Spy (1965-1968) |
Older than '51. Resolution not good on my screen. Possibly a '49(?) -- Last edit: 2010-06-10 00:53:28 |

| 1964 Cadillac Coupe DeVille [6357] Moonlighting (1985-1989) | Area under front lamp panel looks like the '64 design. | 2010-06-10 00:42 | |
| 1985 Ford LTD Crown Victoria MacGyver (1985-1992) |
How can you tell? (Note the thumbnails are from a different episode) |

| 1972 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Moonlighting (1985-1989) | Looks like a '72. | 2010-06-09 15:34 | |

I'll certainly agree with that! A garish insult to true automotive beauty. |

| 1949 Chrysler New Yorker Club Coupe [C-46-2] Rendez-vous de juillet (1949) | Have long felt the 1949 and 1950 Chryslers were amoung the most stately and handsome cars ever built. | 2010-06-09 15:26 | |
| 1985 Ford LTD Crown Victoria MacGyver (1985-1992) | I see no fender side tags, so would feel 1985 - 1987 range. | 2010-06-09 15:18 | |
| 1969 Pontiac Catalina Una sull'altra (1969) | Nice front shot. | 2010-06-09 00:09 | |
| 1962 Checker Taxicab [A11] Una sull'altra (1969) | Agreed. Could actually be anywhere from '61 through '67. | 2010-06-09 00:08 | |
| 1959 Chevrolet Impala Sport Sedan [1839] BUtterfield 8 (1960) | Actually all "flattop" GM cars from '59 and '60 were hardtops, not sedans (no "B" posts). | 2010-06-08 20:59 | |
| 1950 Studebaker Champion The Six Million Dollar Man (1974-1978) |
Awww. Like Rodney Dangerfield - no respect! OK. Two-piece rear window shows it to be pre-51 and a sedan, not a coupe. Commanders and Champions had different style bumper guards and the very tip of the left one is visible. It appears to be of the taller, thinner Champion design. There is also a subtle taillamp difference between the 2 models. The Commanders have small circles at the top and bottom of the lenses and I don't detect them in the photo'ed car. Based on the above 2 factors, listing as Champion. I hope this car was rescued. -- Last edit: 2010-06-08 20:57:07 |

| 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air BUtterfield 8 (1960) | From here, it looks like it has the double rear chrome of a Bel Air. | 2010-06-08 15:58 | |
| 1959 Cadillac Sedan DeVille 6-Window [6329L] BUtterfield 8 (1960) | 1959 | 2010-06-08 15:46 | |
| 1958 Ford Thunderbird Coupe BUtterfield 8 (1960) | Listing as 1958 based on side trim. | 2010-06-08 15:45 | |
| 1956 Oldsmobile Super 88 Convertible Coupe BUtterfield 8 (1960) |
Changing to '56 Super 88 based on side trim pattern. |
2010-06-08 15:42 | |
| 1957 Plymouth Belvedere BUtterfield 8 (1960) |
Plymouth. Either '57 or '58. |
2010-06-08 15:37 | |
| 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air BUtterfield 8 (1960) | '54, actually. | 2010-06-08 15:31 | |
| 1954 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special BUtterfield 8 (1960) | Looks like a '54 Cadillac from here. | 2010-06-08 15:28 | |
| 1957 Pontiac Chieftain BUtterfield 8 (1960) | 1957 Pontiac. | 2010-06-08 15:26 | |
| 1956 Imperial [C-73] BUtterfield 8 (1960) |
1956 Imperial. Note massive lamp pods near the bumper ends. 300's don't have those. Rather, they have smaller parking lamps on the fenders under the headlamps. |
2010-06-08 15:25 | |
| 1956 Oldsmobile 88 BUtterfield 8 (1960) |
No. 1956. Either 88 or Super 88. |
2010-06-08 15:21 | |
| 1957 Cadillac Coupe DeVille BUtterfield 8 (1960) | That's a '57 Cadillac, and appears to be a Coupe de Ville. | 2010-06-08 15:18 | |
| 1953 Dodge Coronet [D-44] Arthur et la vengeance de Maltazard (2009) |
Coronets can be determined by the small airvent under the hood ornament, with V-8's having the "V" overlay. This is a Coronet V-8. |
2010-06-08 15:14 | |
| 1985 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Bob Seger: We've got Tonight (1995) | I would go with '85 in absence of tags and no center-mounted brake lamp. | 2010-06-08 00:45 | |
| 1953 Dodge Coronet [D-44] Arthur et la vengeance de Maltazard (2009) | Looks like a '53. | 2010-06-08 00:40 | |
| 1968 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Mission: Impossible (1966-1973) | Obvious '68 style grille. | 2010-06-07 18:06 | |
| 1978 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Poliziotto superpiù (1980) | Thanks for the additional info and illustrations, Drujon. | 2010-06-07 18:04 | |
| 1965 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Change of Habit (1969) |
Good eye, Drujon. 1965 it is. |
2010-06-07 17:44 | |
| 1985 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Highway 61 (1991) | I see no front fender side tags, so would eliminate '83 and '84. | 2010-06-07 15:43 | |
| 1965 Plymouth Valiant The Greatest American Hero (1981-1983) | From visible view of grille, changing to '65. | 2010-06-07 15:36 | |
| 1973 Ford Custom 500 The Six Million Dollar Man (1974-1978) | From what I can see of the grille/parking lamps, it appears to be a 1973 Galaxie 500, not LTD. | 2010-06-07 15:22 | |
| 1951 Mercury Sport Sedan [1CM-74] Naked City (1958-1963) |
Correct. Note vertical taillamps and wide bumper extensions. Changing to '51. |
2010-06-07 15:03 | |
| 1965 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Change of Habit (1969) |
Note body-colored bar across grille center = '64/65, not '63. Special note: 1965 non-commercial Fleetwood models still used 1964 styling. Will go with '64 since more of them were built so odds favor it and first year for that front. -- Last edit: 2010-06-07 14:57:30 |
2010-06-07 14:54 | |
| 1956 Buick Roadmaster Riviera [73] Naked City (1958-1963) | Not to mention obvious '56 taillamps! | 2010-06-07 14:46 | |
| 1953 Studebaker Cuba (1979) |
1953, yes. Too far away to tell Champion vs Commander. Note non-stock bumper guard pattern. Due to upright grille appearance, this appears to be a sedan. |
2010-06-07 14:15 | |
| 1960 Studebaker Lark Naked City (1958-1963) |
1959 or 1960 for sure. The car ahead blocks view of the grill ornament position which could have ID'ed the year. Also, too blurry to make out side grille pattern (all horizontal bars for '59; mesh design for '60). 1959's had "Studebaker" on the front fender sides while '60's had either "Lark VI" or Lark VIII". To my eye, the nameplate on the photo'ed car is too short to spell out "Studebaker" so I am going with 1960. |
2010-06-07 14:08 | |
| 1961 Studebaker Lark Naked City (1958-1963) | Another '61 Lark taxi. | 2010-06-07 14:04 | |
| 1959 Studebaker Lark Naked City (1958-1963) |
Lark. Either 1959 or 1960. A bit too blurry to make out the taillamp lenses. There is a subtle difference between the 2 years: '59's were perfect ovals while the '60's outside edges were slightly notched. I'm going with '59, here. |
