| 1990 Lincoln Town Car Child of Darkness, Child of Light (1991) |
Design range = '90 to '92. (Or in this case, '90 to '91, owing to year of movie) -- Last edit: 2010-07-04 01:25:54 |

| 1974 Lincoln Continental The Six Million Dollar Man (1974-1978) | Nice, stately car. | 2010-07-01 22:30 | |
| 1947 Buick Serebristaya pyl (1953) | Love those massive looking Buicks from this period. | 2010-07-01 22:26 | |
| 1975 Lincoln Continental [53B] Mitchell (1975) | Or 1976. | 2010-07-01 22:21 | |

| 1963 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk [63V-K6] Nixon (1995) |
Could you be referring to me, Tim? Unfortunately, I cannot conclude which of the 3 years you mentioni is correct. The people cover key sections of the car such as headlamp/taillamp rims and front fender ornaments. I can say that in '62 there was no red white and blue emblem on the doors and I don't see one in the photo, but I also don't see the Gran Turismo nameplate either which was there all 3 years. The 62's also still had wide whitewall tires but I doubt the producers would have cared when filming. Since the banner in the background reads 1963, let's just stick with that year. -- Last edit: 2010-07-01 15:51:10 |

| 1966 Chevrolet Bel Air [15569] L'éventreur de Notre-Dame (1979) |
We were passed on our way north from Florida on I-95 yesterday by a '66 Chevrolet sedan. First time I can recall that happening in over 20 years! |

| 1954 Kaiser Manhattan In the Light of the Moon (2000) |
Actually, over 1,200 1955 Kaisers were built but all but the 270 you mentioned were exported to Argentina. (Still exceptionally rare, of course!) -- Last edit: 2010-06-30 22:14:30 |

| 1964 Studebaker Avanti Nixon (1995) | Hard to tell but appears to have square headlamp bezels, so would be '64 rather than '63. | 2010-06-30 22:00 | |
| 1951 Studebaker Champion Two of a Kind (1951) |
Per taillamps, car is not a '47 to '49. Vertical taillamps = '50 to '52. Not a '52 since lamps are not "capped". Too far away to differentiate Commander vs Champion. Will go with '51 as rear window appears to be one-piece. |

| 1960 Studebaker Lark Fantasy Island (1978-1984) | 1960 | 2010-06-27 03:26 | |
| 1950 Studebaker Starlight Coupe The Hideous Sun Demon (1959) |
Too far away for positive ID. Taillamp visible does not appear to be capped so would rule out '52. Will assume the taillamp lense is as narrow as it looks and go with '50. Starlight coupe, of course. |

| 1963 Dodge Unknown Funeral for an Assassin (1977) | Appears to be. | 2010-06-25 03:47 | |
| 1960 Chrysler Valiant Der Teufel hat gut lachen (1960) |
Were they called "Chrysler Valiants" in Switzerland? They never were here. They were "Valiants" at first, then "Plymouth Valiants". |
2010-06-25 01:30 | |
| 1964 Cadillac Series 62 [6239N] Funeral for an Assassin (1977) |
This is a '64, not a '63. Changing accordingly. It's a 4-window hardtop but can't tell if it's a series 62 or a Sedan de Ville. -- Last edit: 2010-06-24 15:18:20 |

| 1970 AMC Hornet [7005-0] Hunter (1984-1991) | Per the grille, this is a 1970 or 1971 Hornet. | 2010-06-24 15:11 | |
| 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix Runaway (1984) |
Correct, Cougar. And the photo'ed car is too far away to tell grille pattern to isolate exact year. |
2010-06-24 15:05 | |
| 1967 Pontiac The Greatest American Hero (1981-1983) |
Actually, the Catalina, Executive and Bonneville all used the same grille in '67. The first 2 had the Pontiac name in the left grille while the Bonneville had the Bonneville name on the left edge of the hood. On the photo'ed car, you can't quite see enough of the left side to tell. (The Grand Prix also used this grille but had hidden headlamps and GP in the grille) |

| 1971 Buick Riviera GS The Ice Storm (1997) |
Love it or not, this has to be one of the most dramatic production designs ever released and truly stands out from the crowd. Today's cookie-cutter designers could take a lesson. -- Last edit: 2010-06-23 22:22:03 |

| 1955 Studebaker Commander Wonder Woman (1976-1979) |
My apologies. Don't know why I failed to note you owned this exact car - it's plainly in your 8-29-09 post! I based my ID on lack of a fender nameplate, the only visual way to differentiate from that angle. (Glad to hear you have added the correct plate.) Happily changing this back to Commander! |

| 1971 Chevrolet Corvette [C3] The Box (2009) |
OK, thanks. Will leave as '71 on that basis. |
2010-06-23 01:57 | |
| 1971 Chevrolet Corvette [C3] The Box (2009) |
I noticed the parking lamps, but with the bulbs burning, you can't really tell. Are the lenses amber or is the bulb itself amber? |
2010-06-22 22:52 | |
| 1971 Chevrolet Corvette [C3] The Box (2009) |
Agree. Enough views to leave little doubt it's in the '70 to '72 range. |
2010-06-22 19:54 | |
| 1972 Ford LTD The Box (2009) |
1972 is the correct year. Changing accordingly. |
2010-06-22 19:17 | |
| 1965 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Bonnie e Clyde all'italiana (1982) |
Or a '65. The non-commercial Fleetwoods continued with 1964 styling. In fact, the wheel covers look more like '65's than '64's. |
2010-06-22 19:09 | |
| 1965 Ford Mustang JFK (1991) | More likely they were just sloppy. | 2010-06-22 02:20 | |
| 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special Brougham [68069P] La poliziotta a New York (1981) | A beaut! | 2010-06-22 02:17 | |
| 1963 Buick Riviera La poliziotta a New York (1981) | I see no hood ornament so would list as 1963. | 2010-06-22 02:16 | |
| 1986 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Lucky Numbers (2000) | Also, 1988's had red lenses top and bottom. | 2010-06-22 02:12 | |
| 1940 LaSalle Touring Sedan [40-5019] In Enemy Hands (2004) | Last year for the LaSalle. | 2010-06-22 02:08 | |
| 1971 Cadillac Sedan DeVille [68349B] La poliziotta a New York (1981) | Note small emblems between the headlamps. Definitely a '71. | 2010-06-22 01:25 | |
| 1988 Ford LTD Crown Victoria It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005-2013) |
'88 to '90. (Not '91 since amber parking lamp lenses.) -- Last edit: 2010-06-22 01:24:08 |

| 1994 Lincoln Continental Mortal Fear (1994) |
I commented about the 1994 Lincoln Continental in another section and speculated as to whether or not this was the last one-year-only design for an American car. Both the front and rear were unique to 1994 and I cannot think of any later example. Comments? |
2010-06-20 22:44 | |
| 1990 Lincoln Town Car Stretched Limousine New Nightmare (1994) |
That pattern is difficult to detect from a side view as shown but I see nothing to dispute it. Would agree with '90 to '92 listing. |
2010-06-20 22:39 | |
| 1956 Cadillac Ambulance Superior Rescue The Woods (2006) | '55 or '56. | 2010-06-20 22:36 | |
| 1993 Lincoln Town Car New Nightmare (1994) | Based on the larger number of heavy vertical grille bars, this would be a '93 or '94. | 2010-06-20 15:44 | |
| 1967 Chevrolet Camaro 30 pripadu majora Zemana (1974-1979) | Indeed. We were on parallel planes with that one. | 2010-06-20 02:58 | |
| 1967 Chevrolet Camaro 30 pripadu majora Zemana (1974-1979) | '67 or '68. | 2010-06-20 02:52 | |
| 1977 Cadillac Sedan DeVille The A-Team (1983-1987) |
Oh, I loved that as a kid - I could always tell each make, model and year apart. All that changed in the '80's, of course. Which brings to mind a question. What was the last year any American car had a unique (one year only) front and rear? The latest I can think of is the 1994 Lincoln Continental. Was there any later car than that? -- Last edit: 2010-06-20 02:56:46 |

| 1960 Chrysler Saratoga Two-Door Hardtop Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace (1996) | As a Studebaker nut, I hope so. | 2010-06-19 22:14 | |
| 1961 Ford Thunderbird Crowded House: Weather With You (1991) | '61 to '63 range. | 2010-06-19 22:12 | |
| 1951 Plymouth unknown Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace (1996) |
If it's the same car as in the thumbnail (and I'm not convinced it is) then it's either a '51 or a '52. (The main photo looks like an older model to me) |
2010-06-19 22:11 | |
| 1958 Chevrolet Biscayne Two-Door Sedan Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace (1996) | Looks like a 1950 Studebaker Champion above it. | 2010-06-19 22:09 | |
| 1977 Cadillac Sedan DeVille The A-Team (1983-1987) | 1977, actually. | 2010-06-19 22:06 | |
| 1931 Packard Super Eight Coupe Roadster [1104] Changeling (2008) |
The front fenders don't look adequately skirted to be a '34 (or even a '33). Wouldn't this more likely be a '31 or '32? |
2010-06-19 16:27 | |
| 1986 Lincoln Town Car MacGyver (1985-1992) | '86 to '87. | 2010-06-19 16:24 | |
| 1973 Imperial LeBaron [3Y-M] The Outfit (1973) |
Just noticed the rubber bumper guards. I'm more convinced than ever that this is indeed a 1973. |
2010-06-19 16:09 | |
| 1973 Imperial LeBaron [3Y-M] The Outfit (1973) | OK. We'll go with '73 pending dissent or better photos. | 2010-06-18 19:12 | |
| 1990 Lincoln Town Car Seinfeld (1990-1998) | Range: 1990-1994. | 2010-06-18 18:29 | |

After further review - 1972, particularly. -- Last edit: 2010-06-18 15:08:43 |
