Nothing at all I'm afraid there isn't a way to externally identify a carburated 1.6 from a diesel apart from the trim badge on the boot/trunk. Externally both models are identical. I am not sure if this colour was stock when it was sold. It wasn't in Europe nor US, but the japanese market could have had this.
