| 1960 Buick Invicta [4619] Big Wednesday (1978) | The monitor I use at work isn't bright enough to count the portholes. Fullly-chromed wheel openings and three portholes is Invicta. Four portholes with standard beltline trim (no wide lower stainless) is base Electra. | 2009-01-10 04:00 | |

| 1953 Buick Super Riviera [56-R] Love Field (1992) |
lower dip in the body side=Super (if 3 portholes) Super Riviera is model 56R |
2009-01-07 15:41 | |
| 1955 Buick Roadmaster Four Door Sedan [72] Love Field (1992) | If there are no badges on the rear doors, this would be a Roadmaster. The other thing to check is the presence of wide stainless mouldings between the rear wheel openings and the rear bumper outer edges. | 2009-01-07 15:32 | |
| Oshkosh M911 C-HET 8x6 Mogadischu (2008) |
Correct. By the height of the front bumper, it could be this one: http://www.olive-drab.com/idphoto/id_photos_m911chet.php -- Last edit: 2009-01-07 02:34:28 |

| John Deere LX-Series Brain Donors (1992) |
HEY! Is that 1959 GM hardtop sedan the same car as the Cadillac? Hmmm... Edit: Nope: Gotta be a Buick. Are there any more images of this car? -- Last edit: 2009-01-06 02:46:09 |

| 1946 Plymouth Special De Luxe [P-15-C] Revolutionary Road (2008) | 47-48 Plymouth? | 2009-01-04 22:26 | |
| 1950 Buick Roadmaster Our Man in Havana (1959) | And the first year for the four portholes on the Super was 1955, making this a Roadmaster. | 2009-01-04 12:43 | |
| 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 Holiday Taken (2002) |
Actually I would like to say it is a base-series "88" Holiday. After painstakingly comparing details, the only difference I can make out from this view is that the rear chrome beltline strip (running from the reversing lamps to above the rear tire) is longer on the base "88." It appears to be shorter on the "Super 88" series for whatever reason (wheelbase, overall length, etc.), allowing the curvy bit of side trim to occupy the space remaining. Notice how on the "Super 88" cars the side trim that starts from the bottom of the side windows sweeps past the rear wheel opening. | Our Man in Havana (1959) | What a cast! And Noël Coward, screen writer to "Brief Encounter" as an actor. Ernie Kovacs can be many different people. I see you are interested in my favorite era and appreciate films that demonstrate the complexities of the post-war world. Most people associate the 1950s with popular culture icons such as "Leave It to Beaver" and The Rat Pack. | 2009-01-04 11:52 | |
| 1951 Buick Special Our Man in Havana (1959) | 1951 Special. I need a door count. | 2009-01-04 11:37 | |
| 1957 Oldsmobile Golden Rocket 88 Our Man in Havana (1959) | low-end, 88 or (Golden) Rocket 88. I don't understand the 57 Olds series as well as 58 and above. | 2009-01-04 11:28 | |
| 1958 Mercury Medalist [58C] Our Man in Havana (1959) |
Four-door sedan. Model 58C. http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/main.php?g2_itemId=76681&g2_imageViewsIndex=1 |

| 1959 Mercury Park Lane Two-Door Hardtop [63C] Inventing the Abbotts (1997) | Was "Cruiser" suffix applied to both 2 and 4 door hardtops? | 2009-01-03 04:12 | |
| Scandal Sheet (1952) | I like any Broderick Crawford film. | 2009-01-02 18:18 | |
| 1956 Plymouth Plaza Plunder Road (1957) | Those tail lights are unfamiliar to me. | 2009-01-01 03:17 | |

| 1959 Mercury Park Lane Two-Door Hardtop [63C] Inventing the Abbotts (1997) | This is a drop-dead gorgeous 1959 Mercury. Model TBD (to be determined). | 2008-12-31 14:27 | |
| 1951 Packard 250 Convertible [2431] Inventing the Abbotts (1997) | It's a Packard at least. | 2008-12-31 14:26 | |

You're right, it's a 1955. Here is one that was once the same colour. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2240/2518032578_b7565018d3_b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2079/2528624682_6ea9c3291b_b.jpg |

| 1959 Cadillac Sedan DeVille [6329L] Inventing the Abbotts (1997) | A Sedan deVille? | 2008-12-31 14:04 | |
| 1957 Plymouth Belvedere Inventing the Abbotts (1997) |
It's a 1957. Look for a "V" emblem between the front wheel opening and the bumper. If none, then it's a six-cylinder car. -- Last edit: 2008-12-31 14:02:53 |
