Commander 57 ![]() | We are still sitting here with the car listed as an Eagle and I believe that's out since the car does not have winshield garnish moudings. I think that's true of the Ace, also. Both the Lark and Wing had rubber mouldings, to my knowledge. Rickomatic indicated this could be a re-painted Lark from Back to the Future (II?). Can that be confirmed? If not, this could be either a Lark or Wing. For now, will just take the "Eagle" listing off. Too bad there is no '52 Willys brochure on line at this time at the brochure site. -- Last edit: 2012-03-06 15:16:31 |

| 1952 Willys Aero Lark Cry-Baby (1990) | RICK0MATIC | Interesting that the car has 1954 hub caps. It does NOT look like it has chrome around the windshield, only in the divider bar, that would make it a 1952 Lark or a 1953 Lark/Falcon. I still think this is Larry Root's '52 Lark from Back to the Future that was repainted. Commander 57, you have done your homework and I'm proud of you. |

| 1952 Willys Aero Lark Cry-Baby (1990) |
Commander 57 ![]() | OK. Have done some further research. Unlike the 1953 model, the 1952 Aero Eagle DID have a 2-piece windshield. However, we cannot conclude that this is an Eagle, since we cannot see whether or not it is a 2-door hardtop style. It is not a Lark since it has chrome around the windshield. It is not a 1953 Ace, as all of them had 1-piece windshields, like the '53 Eagle. That leaves it being either a 1952 Ace/Wing/Eagle or a 1953 Falcon. If this is a 4-door car, then it HAS to be a '53 as there were no 4-door 1952 models. Also, I believe that 1953 models had gold-colored "W"'s in the grill and this one appears chrome. Would go with "1952 Willys Unknown" until we can see whether or not this is a 2-door hardtop or 2-door sedan. |

Commander 57 ![]() | Also, I believe Eagles had one-piece windshields. Incidentally, why couldn't this be a 1953? -- Last edit: 2009-10-02 20:57:04 |

| 1952 Willys Aero Lark Cry-Baby (1990) | RICK0MATIC | I have not seen the movie but I can tell from this one pic that it is NOT an Eagle hardtop because it does not have the stainless windshield garnish molding, but it's definately a 1952. The '52 Lark that was used in Back to the Future was repainted after that movie to this color scheme, so if this movie was filmed in Los Angeles, then this may be the same '52 Aero Lark. | 2009-10-02 19:57 | |

nzcarnerd ![]() | The redbike is an early '50s BSA - can't tell which model. There looks to be two of them there. The two behind are both Indians. The two door hot rod is a '33 or '34. The aqua coloured van looks like mid-'30s Chev. The maroon car with its hood up looks to be a Mercury with a DeSoto grille. | 2007-03-31 20:55 | |
