Bad Biology (2008)		 CougarTim USThe MP3 would have a badge on the door and mirrors that are completely bodycolor (no black base). The Mazdaspeed had the same mirrors as the MP3.

The "laser blue" color was offered on ordinary Protege sedans and Protege5 wagons in 2003 only, but that doesn't resolve which one this car is.

Bad Biology (2008)		 CougarTim USI think it's a 1998-2002 Mazda 626 [GF]; without the taillights narrowing it down better may not be possible.

That's a 1995-1996 Mazda Protege [BH] next to it, and in a functioning salvage yard it would make sense to keep the Mazdas together.

Just found it. This is a 2003 Mazda Protege 5 in Laser Blue Mica. The color was available on the 2001 MP3 and on the whole line in 2003, but only the 5 has the amber marker in front of the wheels.
