Hey, styles change over the years, it doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. In my opinion, I'd much rather have a 1980s Lesabre than that ugly 1960s Lesabre.

Ingo DEPooh, the view to both Pontiac Le Mans still has shocked me again. A real nice muscle car degenerates to a copy of a Opel Kadett/Vauxhall Astra (and later Daewoo Nexia). Deeper a car cannot sink! (o.k., except socialism-garbage like a Trabant). 2008-01-16 19:49

Ingo DEThe US-cars up to the late 70ies, are "real" US-cars for us Europeans. Very big and much chrome. O.k., not known for high-tech, but the size was it.

The releasing of the K-, J- and whatever- cars where the "casket-nail" (a direct translation from German) for the reputation of the US-car-companies.
The US-cars after that time had the worst reputation in Europe (with only a very few exceptions): ugly, very lame, unreliable, uninteresting technology, high fuel consumption.
This hasn't changed until now.
