| 1987 MCW Metrocab Mission: Impossible (1988-1990) |
humber ![]() | Yes a Metrocab version were built in Sydney, fitted with either local GMH Holden or Ford Falcon 6cyl motor & transmission. I think the wonderful feature was fiberglass, bolt on mudguards to eliminate long downtitme should one have an accident. I think they were modified to the style of the Nissan Prairie which only came with a 4cyl 2Litre motor. Either way they were practical and more important offerered driver safety & protection. Sadly their marketing didn't have the support of the diehard taxi industry. Victoria is now looking for a purpose built taxi to include those features, rather than the presently used Falcon or Holden Sedan, Station Wagon or the larger "people movers" |

| 1986 Bentley Turbo R Mission: Impossible (1988-1990) |
G-MANN ![]() | Didn't realise the Turbo R started off with rectangular headlights. Mulsanne Turbo was 1982-85, so if that plate is genuine (E-reg = 1987-88, or it might be an F) then it must it be a Turbo R. Plate doesn't appear on HPI but it could have been replaced with a personalised registration. -- Last edit: 2012-09-11 19:36:28 |

| 1986 Bentley Turbo R Mission: Impossible (1988-1990) |
G-MANN ![]() | Rectangular headlights and body-coloured grille are right for Mulsanne Turbo. Surely Turbo R would have circular headlights? | 2012-09-11 17:50 | |
