arcticat2000 | I had that exact car, the first of the front wheel drive race cars, it had a 4.3 litre v-6. I remember that was the first time many of us saw a v-6 sideways in an engine compartment. Fun car to drive for it's time, 1st gear would suck you right back in that seat, i got mine to chirp in all gears. First year for the Eagle Gt series tires i believe, not many of us had seen low profile tires before on an American car. I took all the stickers and Chevy emblems off mine and got an aftermarket spoiler that was about 1" off the ground. I remember when i was pulled over near my work for going thru a yellow light, the cop walks up to the window and says "What is this thing, some sorta hopped up Mustang?" "Nope" I said.
