Davey | This is without any question a 1964 AMC Rambler Ambassador 990. Only the 990 had the chrome strip with the red line in it, running along the fender and door. Also, the 990 designation behind the wheel well is a unique graphic style. Lastly, while the body is the same as the 1963 model, the grill on the '63 model is convex, following the "V" shape of the forward edge of the fender. The grill on this car is unmistakably that of a 1964. Why should you believe me? I've owned several '64 Ambassador 990's and have always had at least one in the fleet since 1974.
