2491tj ENex WW2 Soviet SU 76 M self propelled gun, disguised as a WW2 Japanese Mitsubishi CHI-NU tank.
after WW2 Russia Supplied China and Korea with SU76Ms and the Chinese declared theirs obsolete in the 1970s...what the pic shows is, from the ground up to where the body line starts, is the hull and running gear of a WW2 Soviet SU 76 M SPG....all the upper armour ,turret etc is replica to make it look like the Japanese tank mentioned.

Ome_Joop NLI think it's a modified SU-76.
It's not a T-70 as it has 6 roadwheels (SU-76) compared to the 5 of the T-70.

Tai Hang shan shang (2005) Gag Halfrunt UKAs Alexander said about Empire of the Sun:
Alexander wrote Actually there is hardly any film showing armour from that period that is not using post-war equipment. Original military material is usually no longer existent, or not in a usable condition, or too valuable to be used by a film crew. The Shanghai occupation took place in 1937 and I doubt that vehicles from that time survived 50 years of war and communist rule in China.

This is a Chinese film, so most of the vehicles are probably post-war Chinese or Soviet models in disguise, or made-for-movie replicas of Japanese types.
