The film was good to make the pics for the site, but not to rewatch it, so I sold it. It seems, that winning the confidence of the new, post-1968 political elites was his only way of the return to the direction, so he had to made a very friendly to the party and its ideals movie. But this great director didn't feel good in such world of the monumental socialist construction site. The final effect is artificial and the film unfortunately isn't good. ...
