Plus, Jerry Trainor recommended one to Dan Schneider for the series finale of iCarly, and the upcoming spin-off "Sam & Cat."

1962 Studebaker Lark Cruiser
Happy Days (1974-1984)
StudeSteve CAYep, I remember this one...bright orange Lark 4dr sedan. Tom Bosley (Mr C) and Henry Winkler (the Fonz) are conversing in the Cs' driveway while Bosley is washing his newly-acquired Stude. Winkler asks Bosley about the new car (which, incidentally, would not really have been all that new in the mid-sixties...this episode was late in the series)...

Bosley: Well, after all those years of driving a huge DeSoto, I just thought it was time for something sportier...

Winkler: So what happened?

Bosley instantly shoots Winkler this priceless look of utter disgust as Winkler chuckles at his own joke...it's funny, I remember the expressions on the actors' faces so clearly, despite last seeing that episode maybe 20 years ago! Even then I was fond of Studebakers (they were built in my hometown of Hamilton, Ontario); nowadays I have one of my own, a 62 Lark not too unlike the one Mr C had bought for "something sportier"!

Triumph T 100 C
Happy Days (1974-1984)
Galaxie500Fonzie's bike was a Triumph T100C. The high pipes mean it was set up for US West Coast distribution as they put those on competition machines. The enduro tires were for on-off road. 2008-12-02 18:11

I'd say an F-2 at the lightest... or maybe an F-3. This is a cowl & chassis with a walk-in delivery body mounted on top.

Happy Days (1974-1984)
Ddey65 USHmm, a 1920-something repainted Coca-Cola truck with a cheap battering ram over the grille. This looks like it was used in another TV show or movie and had footage used for this episode.

Happy Days (1974-1984)
rpcm PTIn the US, it was sold as VW Convertible. From the 1958 model year on, US "Beetles" received the front indicators on the wings. This one's rear bonnet is, indeed, from the type used by 1958/63 Convertibles, but the rear lights belong to a more recent car. 2008-02-18 21:58
