EDIT: with Chile... was a bad relations since 150 years almost.

1965 Cadillac Calais
État de siège (1972)
strawway USSince the molding at the top of the door at the window is narrow it is a Calais. The DeVille models have a wide chrome molding there. It is not a Fleetwood as those have no body side moldings, only a wide stainless steel molding along the rocker panel. 2011-09-20 03:58

DynaMike a écrit Interesting. That would mean that this old Vanguard model was reborn in 1962. But since it is different from the ones we've seen before, I guess it might be indeed that "Standard 12cwt"...

I think the car produced in Chili in 1962 was this one

and not a Vanguard

1954 Ford Courier Sedan Delivery [78A]
État de siège (1972)
CougarTim US
vilero a écrit From Ford Forums (see 1st. info in the upper side of the page) "Ford Courier From 1952 to 1958 the Ford Courier was marketed as a "sedan delivery" designated body code 78A, and was based on the contemporary sedan and station wagon designs. During the 1957 and 1958 model year, a windowed variant of the Courier was marketed for fleet orders and a number were produced primarily for Government services."

Based on the discussion here, this should be a Courier.

1961 Comet Sedan [54A]
État de siège (1972)
Firebird86 USThe Comet was developed as a compact car for the Edsel line. But with the Edsel brand eliminated before the 1960 model year, Ford released the Comet as a seperate model, that was sold by Lincoln-Mercury dealers. The Comet was based on a stretched Falcon frame. The sedan's wheelbase of 114 inches suggested intermediate, but Mercury positioned it as a compact.

Fiat 600 E [100D]
État de siège (1972)
Weasel1984 PLThis was also built in Chile. Can be R (if in Chile they made the R too), but E had the same grill a bit earlier.

Edit - it seems they were assembled from the Argentinian parts (and there were R). But still not confimred since when this gril was used in Argentina, for sure after the 1969. Very possible that at the end of 600 E/F production - before the intro of R in 1972.

the nose of the hood on a '69 is more squared
70-72 have a large body ridge above rear wheel openings
besides the wheel covers are '68

The wheel covers are the upgrade option for '69 (I have the same wheel covers on my '69, which I bought from the original owner), and may have been offered for '68.
