zodiac SEHow can you tell it's a 1969 Volvo 144? I once had a 1969 142, and I was taught that from 1969 onwards only the B20 engine was available, which was indicated with a small badge on the grill http://www.flickr.com/photos/govert1970/3282955730/in/photostream/ . I'd vote for a 1967 or a 1968 model. 2011-03-05 11:19

You could be right. The visible grille behind the chrome bars show it has an engine in "normal" position, by opposition to Büssing's usual Unterflur system.

Le casse (1971)
medimanic GRMany of them are now converted, besides there were several and I don't have detailed information for all. By their time in Greece was much easier and more practical to deal with German parts and engines than Japanese, however I wouldn't be surprised to discover the exception..

Apollon
Le casse (1971)
ingo DEOh, really? I thought, they were powered by Honda- or Mazda-engines. In 1993 on Corfu I've seen still several of them. There was one specific Three-Wheeler-model, which has double round front lamps. It's chromated frame around them has irritated me, because it looked exactly like that of the NSU TT  2011-02-24 22:59

medimanic GRBiamax was using MB chassis from the first production year 1957 until 1961. By that year and on Biamax developed their own chassis for their large buses and coaches and at the same time launched the slightly smaller R series that was one of the first buses woldwide with monocoque body. Le casse (1971)
130rapid PLIt could be 1962-1963 Holden [EJ] indeed by characteristic 'falling-down' side slat and 'holdenish' grey.
However tail lights don't match for me.
Is it possible Holden used Vauxhall's tail lights for European market?
