| 1971 Simca 1204 Special Monty Python's Flying Circus (1969-1974) |
Weasel1984 ![]() | It's interesting, because 1100 Special with stronger engine was in fact introduced in september 1970, but perhaps not only in UK it went on market few months later, hence still the "1204" were available. In such case I think we can call it 1204 - it will be correct as the oldest possibility. |

| 1971 Simca 1204 Special Monty Python's Flying Circus (1969-1974) |
dsl ![]() | Badge does not exclude 1204 - the rectangular design was introduced Sept 70 at the same time as first 1204 arrived in UK; Aug 71 replaced by 1100 Special. So this could be 1204, but realistically 1100 more likely for longer availability up to filming date. I've also got a text reference for Sept 73 removal of rear side window moulding - not sure what that would look like, but this one looks very plain. | 2013-02-04 14:18

Weasel1984 ![]() | It is not TI. If 1970 Special (pity we do not see are there headrests) then, by the filming location, it indeed is a "British" 1204 to me. | 2013-02-04 13:56

cresta1957 ![]() | There's no difference in sidetrim between Cresta deLuxe and Viscount but because of black roof would say to 99% that this is a Vauxhall Viscount PCE of 1966 to 1969 (cars of 1970 to 1972 had the Vynil cover of the roof also on the A-pillar). | 2013-01-08 06:26
