| 1957 Thames Trader MkI [500E] Diabolik (1968) |
chris40 ![]() | Mango, your Blitz Wagon seems to be a Chevrolet C15, probably built by Holden, but I don't think the thumbnail is a C15. I note what you say about the other feature of the main picture, but frankly I doubt it |

| 1942 Chevrolet G-7107 Diabolik (1968) |
Kooshmeister ![]() | Story-wise, I meant; Diabolik swipes the Thames Trader and crashes it off a cliff to block the train tunnel, so story-wise, this, the Trader, and the other truck that rolls down the cliff are meant to be the same truck. They just used three different models to portray it. |

Raul1983 ![]() | No. The fake Thames Trader falling off the cliff looks different than this one. |

| 1957 Thames Trader MkI [500E] Diabolik (1968) |
Mango ![]() | The truck going over the cliff is a 1940's Blitz Wagon. These were a 4WD truck manafactured for use in WW2. If you want to see one there is a model of one converted after the war to a rural fire truck in Australia on the following site. www.topgear.com.au (the trucks are under the trux menue) In relation to the girl she should have won the arse of the year award for those shorts and it is a pity we did not get to see the front. It is now 40 years since that photo I wonder did she keep that body all these years. -- Last edit: 2009-01-29 23:50:34 |

| 1942 Chevrolet G-7107 Diabolik (1968) |
Kooshmeister ![]() | Isn't this supposed to be the Thames Trader after it falls off the cliff? If so, Antp said not to list it separately. | 2008-12-24 10:02

| 1942 Chevrolet G-7107 Diabolik (1968) |
Ddey65 ![]() | To be honest, this doesn't even look that much like a truck. It looks more like a diesel switcher locomotive. |

Ingo ![]() | The candidate got 99 rubber-points and has won as many washing-machines as he can carry at home! I don't know, if you understand the meaning of this 100% adapted German phrase, but here it fits perfectly. |

| 1957 Thames Trader MkI [500E] Diabolik (1968) |
chris40 ![]() | I think the 'Thames Trader' committing suicide is Made for Movie, probably by someone who never saw a Thames Trader. I wouldn't list it either, if only to spare the blushes of the props. department. | 2008-12-22 16:40
| 1957 Thames Trader MkI [500E] Diabolik (1968) |
antp ![]() | He said it: it is supposed to be the same as the main one. I would not list it separately. I guess that Ingo & Garco's comments where related to the girl rather than the truck -- Last edit: 2008-12-22 15:16:22 |

Jun ![]() | It's very difficult. Motor is Side-valve & single cladle frame & headlight stay is postwar 1946- & horn is not original. Also the meter panel of vehicle_83161-Harley-Davidson-unknown.html looks like wartime WLA&WLC. It may be Harley-Davidson WLA (or WLC...for Canada) that was remodeled and became a private vehicle after the war. |

| Jeep CJ-5 Diabolik (1968) |
4x4peru ![]() | There appears to be the aux power recess of the Willys M38A1 visible behind the front wheel. It has the early split windshield and the cowl battery cover that could be the M38A1 also. The windshield and cowl cover were on the early CJ5 as well. The headlights and front bumper do not go with the military version but could be custom like the paint stripes and wheels. The chrome bumper is most likely custom unless off the '65 Tuxedo model. A clearer pic of the suspension or body side would make it easy to be sure. But without solid evidence CJ5 is Ok with me. | 2007-01-30 05:26
| Jeep CJ-5 Diabolik (1968) |
datsunZ ![]() | Being that Jeep CJ-5 wasn't still imported in Italy at times of movie(IMDB says movie had Italian locations);can't be excluded could be an Italian-made(for a while into early Sixties')CJ-5,made near Palermo by Willys Mediterranea in few units(very rare today) |

datsunZ ![]() | Also in Italy exists a parody in musical videoclip:in 2004 the Italian group Tiromancino had performed their hit"Amore Impossibile"in a video directed by the son of Mario Bava(director of 1967 movie of which that video was an homage),Lamberto;into the video was visible also the black Jag E and the pair Diabolik(roled by US-actor of soap"The Bold and the Beautiful"Daniel McVicar)-Eva Kant(roled by Italian actress Claudia Gerini, famous for 1995 movie"Viaggi di Nozze"with Carlo Verdone);at end of videoclip Eva escapes aboard the Jag,betraying Diabolik and taking aboard at side of road a runabout with a guitar(the leader of Tiromancino group,Federico Zampaglione) -- Last edit: 2007-01-29 23:23:39 |
