dsl SXThe thumbs are helpful for the Cortina, because I can not see a boot badge (I can however imagine ingo laughing his socks off). 1965+ m.y. Cortinas had a big badge on the right which should be visible here. Consul Cortinas had a thinner central badge, which probably would not be visible against a grey colour. Therefore we have a 1963 Consul Cortina, probably standard or deluxe in such a drab colour and with no chrome trim.

It is of course impossible under every known law and humanitarian convention for a Mk1 Cortina to ever exist without a boot badge, unless it is a Lotus until mid-1965 which this is definitely not.

1967 Renault 4 [R1123]
Banditi a Milano (1968)
DAF555 SEEven if it´s problematic to be sure of deranged colors on some old films, like this one, I can´t think of any shade for early R4´s that would match this one. They were almost all painted in very light colors. Only early exception was a medium red that was rather common. Base models had a medium grey though. If I remember correctly you couldn´t get them in dark colors until 1965 models, and for 1967 modelyear a medium blue was added. I´m fairly sure that this car is painted in that color, which would rule out Alfa assembly.

DynaMike NLThe Italian built R4 had the repeater more to the front, the one we see here has it on the same spot as the parking light of French R4s, so it must be newer indeed. 2010-09-16 12:32

ingo DEI'm still thinking of a fourdoor LS:
Link to "data.motor-talk.de"
Indeed a rare car. I had to look while before I've found a photo.

You don't believe it for such a mass-produced car, but there was indeed one engine-trim line-combinaion of the Kadett B LS, of which only three(!) single cars were produced. I know this from a *cough* indeed nerdic ;) guy, who owns one. He had hunted for that car over many years - because his grandfather had one of these three. It was wrecked in 1977. The second one disappeared sometimes in the 70ies, but the third he had found in Italy. After a long-lasting discussion he could buy it for restoration. He told me, that the whole 1500 km on the way back home he was crying for happiness...
