Suspicion confirmed! ![]() This is one of max. 20 Opel Blitz Mannschaftstransportwagen (personnel carriers) that were built by famous but often forgotten coachbuilder Autenrieth of Darmstadt/ Germany. Autenrieth started to build these vehicles in 1953, using Opel Blitz 1,75 T chassis. In addition to these convertible trucks Autenrieth manufactured about another 20 units with standard steel roof. |

DynaMike ![]() | I think I just didn't get what you meant... Je m'excuse It is quite probable indeed that this will be a 1964-model. Some 190s with these extra lamps are listed as 1962s some as 1964s. |

sixcyl ![]() | Celà ne me gêne pas plus que ça , Mike...et je cautionne cette règle d'or, d'ailleurs! .. sauf que pour ces Mercos, il y a un risque que l'on date de façon anticipée toutes les versions 64 dûment équipées de série avec ces anti-brouillards, au seul motif d'une éventualité d'être en présence de modèles antérieurs equipés d'accessoires optionnels. Or, la probabilité rentre en ligne de compte dans ce cas. L'option "feux anti-brouillards" était elle très fréquente parmi les clients de la 190 de 1962? ..si oui, alors je suis d'accord, si non un peu moins...mais qui peut le dire? ![]() |

sixcyl ![]() | I must apologize rpcm (and Mike too) , I thought this lights were indicators and not fog lamps, and the indicators on the wings used as "repetitors", but it seems wrong... ![]() But whatever this question, the 1964 model still have indicators lights on the wings near the doors, when the "fogs lights" are non-optional device on the models 1964/65..then why not 1964? rather an optional equipment on a 1961 model? So it should be an 1964 model ![]() |

DynaMike ![]() | Very good question... Found it in Jan de Lange's "De Snoek - Citroën ID/DS in Nederland". Normally, Jan de Lange is very well informed, but it's true, I couldn't find this "F" in René Bellu "Toutes les Ciroën". So it's probably just a Jan-de-Lange-typification or typical dutch...
