| 1966 Chrysler 300 Convertible The Green Hornet (1966-1967) | mrroberts | Check out the Corpse of the Year clip on youtube to see Britt Reid's 300 and Both Black Beautys in one clip. Love the show and the 66/67 Mopars they used in it. | 2009-05-03 20:06 | |

nathanielnong ![]() | i would like to ask... the green hornet owned two cars. one we all knew well that it was the Black Beauty. the other one, an ordinary car, used at his normal time. it was a white sedan (or convertible i am not sure). could you tell me the make of that car? |

58Roadmaster ![]() | If it is in several episodes, try to see if one of the cars they used was a letter car. I'm just curious. | 2008-03-31 08:40 | |

Colorado Bill ![]() | This Chrysler is the personal vehicle of the show's lead character, Britt Reid, and is featured in most episodes. Britt Reid is secretly The Green Hornet, on police records a wanted criminal. He hides the Hornet's car, the Black Beauty, in the same one-car garage as the Chrysler. How does he manage this? Colorado Bill ![]() | Unknown role?? The car got third billing! "Another challenge for the Green Hornet, his aide Kato, and their rolling arsenal, the Black Beauty..." This is a 5-star vehicle. Barris had absolutely ZILCH to do with the creation of this car. He bought one long after the show ended and turned it into a travesty of Jeffries' design. |

Ddey65 ![]() | Another Barris link: Link to "www.barris.com" And if I'm not mistaken(which I'm pretty sure I'm not this time), Imperial was a separate make from Chrysler throughout the 1960's. -- Last edit: 2007-04-01 05:19:43 |
