| 1951 Jaguar Mk.VII Edgar Wallace - Neues vom Hexer (1965) |
Bob Dieck ![]() | Indeed a lovely car, but with some details I found wrong. As the car has trafficators it shouldn't have blinkers in both fore wings. Also the 1950 bumper has a different profile, this one is the second type, which is used together with fog lamps out of body and with vents in their place. You may see the built-in fog lamps. |

| 1961 Vauxhall Velox [PA] Edgar Wallace - Neues vom Hexer (1965) |
cresta1957 ![]() | This is a Vauxhall Velox PA of 1961/62. Typical sidechrome and indicatorlenses for this years. Velox not Cresta because of smaller hubcaps. | 2007-09-30 19:54

| 1948 Austin FX3 Taxi Edgar Wallace - Neues vom Hexer (1965) |
antp ![]() | Well, taxis are very close to sedans in most of the cases, except the London taxis that are maybe closer to a non-stretched limousine... though the "limousine" is not very precises, as it has a different meaning depending on the language, cf a thread on the forum. | 2006-07-23 12:33
| 1961 Vauxhall Velox [PA] Edgar Wallace - Neues vom Hexer (1965) |
Sunbar ![]() | Vauxhall Velox/Cresta PA from 1961 (smaller rear lights, one-piece rear window and enlarged grill). Probably a Velox. |

Gag Halfrunt ![]() | The number plate is definitely fake. /vehicle_43354-Austin-FX3.html shows a similar plate, and what look like Berlin street name signs in the background. (In the UK name signs are usually on buildings or walls rather than poles.) | 2006-07-23 03:00

| 1948 Austin FX3 Taxi Edgar Wallace - Neues vom Hexer (1965) |
Alexander ![]() | Agreed! BTW, Antoine, what do you think about a class 'Car, Taxi'? Those cars are not sedans, but, also chaufeur driven, not really limousines. |

| 1948 Wolseley 6/80 Edgar Wallace - Neues vom Hexer (1965) |
Alexander ![]() | Wolseley 6/80 (1948). It is probably not an original police car, but one mocked up by the German film team. The colour is not black, the numberplate a fake, the add-on indicators look like Volkswagen Typ 1 and the roof-rack mounted flash-light looks like those used on German police cars. |

| 1957 Wolseley 6/90 Series III Edgar Wallace - Neues vom Hexer (1965) |
Gag Halfrunt ![]() | I would assume that they belonged to a company that supplied action vehicles for films. There's one called Nine Nine Cars which was founded in 1951: http://www.nineninecars.com/about.html (Dixon of Dock Green was the first British police series. In Britain the emergency telephone number is 999, hence the name Nine Nine.) |
