The Vauxhall Victor F Type shown is an early one, between 1957 - 1959
It is the "Super" model, (abit more flashy than the Standard base model) with the chromed window surrounds, back door creases, full length chrome strips along back lower wings, and exhaust pipe exiting through the rear bumper corner.

A good set of thumbnails for the earliest [F] Victor.
From the comments for 1957 Vauxhall Victor in the movie 'March to Aldermaston', pictures of this car show the same chrome trim (Vauxhall badge on the left). This confirms that the later series 1 cars from 1958 had the chrome trim over the numberplate.

In fact,on a Vauxhall history booklet that own it's listed as F-Victor always that coque,undepending if series I or II,and into text don't came mentioned none FA;for me don't exist that late codification,'cause the booklet that I own was printed just by GM-Vauxhall,so was an attendible source coming right by the Make		 2006-11-22 22:47
