JCFS  | It is definitely a Taunus 15m Cabriolet (G4BAC), 4-seats, 1955-57. It replaces in 1955 the 12m Cabriolet, which has been built 1953-55. The door handle and the position of handle for the triangle-window confirm this. There have been a few Cabriolets made for the police. May be this is one of it. fortengo  | Indeed, it has the restyled door handle that appeared first in the 1955 model year. Having looked at the rear light area more closely, I’d still say that this car is a 15M, or - possibly - a 1957+ 12M. The lower part of the bezel seems to be slightly protruding, as on the 15M: http://www.ford-oldtimer-ersatzteile-bisseling.de/kos/WNetz?art=File.show&id=969&viewid=1.
