1939 Austin 16
Lola, la película (2007)
chris40 UKFurther to the above ... it seems to be a 16, not a 12, and was actually catalogued by the factory. I'm not surprised, because it would have been rather heavy for a 12 h.p. to drag around. I doubt if Austin actually built the body.

Lola, la película (2007) chris40 UKThe first too-background car - the white one with the fabric roof - is a Riley, but I'm not sure whether it's a 1½ or 2½ litre. The second is a Citroën Traction Avant, I’d say a 15-Six. 2009-02-03 22:00

john from Staffs ENSome of the coachbuilt cars used the standard steel saloon front wings, which these are, so this car could be either a Wraith or a Dawn from the late forties or early fifties. As the standard steel Silver Dawn was export only for much of its life I would suggest that this is car is one of those. Are there any more views? We need to see the back to tell which type it is for sure. 2009-02-03 10:02
