How to Marry a Millionaire (1953)
pilou BEIt is not a Suburban .It is a De Soto Custom taxicab on the long wheelbase chassis of 139 1/2 inches ( series S-11) of 1946-1948.The DeSoto Suburban was a special series on the same chassis featuring a third full seat,a roof luggage rack ( first all metal and later metal on wood) and two-tone paint finish.Rear seats could be folded down offering a generous cargo space.Production run of the Suburban for the period was 7500 units .Many saw service as airport limousines. 2006-03-13 12:59

I agree! Very interesting vehicle!

However I would say it is a Tucker Sno-Cat Model 443. They came with two tracks and skis or with four tracks.

Thanks for the pictures, Steve!

I thought so to.! (THanks.!) ..this is my first time back on the site for two days ...Lots of problems trying to get to the IMCDB site.! ..anyway..here at last.! ;)
