1948 Harley-Davidson WL
Motorkavaljerer (1950)
Pomtidom NLThe second bike in the thumbnail is not a WL but a big twin (VL/UL) because it has the chaindrive at the left side. WL have the chain at the right side. 2010-04-26 16:17

Pomtidom NLI checked again and looking at the picture at /vehicle_247572.html I think bike no. 17 is a 500cc BSA Bluestar from '34 or '35.

1948 Harley-Davidson WL
Motorkavaljerer (1950)
Pomtidom NL
nzcarnerd wrote The tank badge would suggest this bike is about 1948. Being side valve it is most likely a model WL or maybe a UL. I think the bike in the thumnails is an older model.

I agree

Velocette unknown
Motorkavaljerer (1950)
Pomtidom NLOf course this picture is mirrored, look at the numbers!
So we are looking at the left sides of the bikes (the primary drive side) which makes it very hard to distinguish what kind of engine they have.
Looking at the nice exhaustpipes of bike No. 17 I guess it is a 250 or 350 from mid '30s as those pipes were the fashion then. The tankbadge looks like Ariel, but it could very well be a Triumph or BSA.
The bike with No. 16 could be a Velocette (KTS? look at the oil pipes to the cilinderhead) from mid 30's if I look at the tank and badge.

1949 Matchless G3L
Motorkavaljerer (1950)
Pomtidom NLI think it's a Matchless G3/L from '49 or '50 or maybe an older one (military bike?) with modified rear, because the way the rear shocks are connected to the frame is not standard.

1946 Ariel 350
Motorkavaljerer (1950)
Pomtidom NLI think it's an Ariel 350, model NG or NH, probably built between '46 and '51 (until '45 they used girder forks and in '51 they changed the badge). It's not a 500, those have larger fins on the cilinderhead. 2009-10-15 10:09

1923 Ford Model T Touring
Motorkavaljerer (1950)
DynaMike NLIndeed, with this radiator shape and the sloping windscreen this Touring is a 1923 model. Originally the radiator would have been painted black (at least on US models), but here it is nickeled. The car was already 27 years old and maybe it was assembled somewhere in Europe, so that might explain why it isn't conform the US version... 2009-09-14 17:12

1937 Dodge 1-Ton [MG-40]
Motorkavaljerer (1950)

1937 Dodge 1-Ton [MG-40]
Motorkavaljerer (1950)
pilou BEThe grille is that of a 1937 Dodge Light to Medium Duty line ( one /one and a half ton ) but it is obviously a locally build cabin and loading or kipper box. Also the hood louvres are vertical rather than horizontal. It looks a very short wheelbase chassis and has dual rear wheels .The rear overhang of the loading or kipper box appears very important. 2009-09-13 15:26
1946 Dodge WF-32

1939 Dodge Senior [D-11]
Motorkavaljerer (1950)
pilou BEThere are 2 different cars here .On the thumbnail is a 1938 Dodge as judged by the hood louvres and it is most probably the same one as on the other picture in the movie so they may be regrouped .The large picture car with the spotlight at roof height shows a more recent model ( inclined C-pillars , sloping roofline).By the position of the rear door hinges I suspect a 1939 Dodge but would need more details. 2009-09-13 14:40

Motorkavaljerer (1950)
pilou BEAs judged by the hood louvres partially visible behind the sidemount spare wheel , by the hood handle mascot ,grille form, fender lines and wheels this is a 1935 Oldsmobile Eight Convertible with a locally build coachwork ( L-35).The grille lacks the 3 original horizontal twin stripe dividers .1935 Oldsmobiles equipped with the the sidemounts were rare.Maybe our Scandinavian friends know more about the coachbuilder. 2009-09-13 14:23

1947 Citroën Berline 11 Sport 'Gangstercittra' [11 BL]
Motorkavaljerer (1950)
DynaMike NLYes, a 11 BL 'Gangstercittra'. By the overriders and the shiny stoneguards it's a post-war version, and since the car is obviously not black it has to be a 1947 (only) in 'metallic' grey. Seems to be a French built car, not Belgian built, like many other Tractions in Scandinavia. 2009-09-13 11:40
