jpts AUI like the scene where dog retreated when they shot at him to get him to drop the stick of dynamite.

BOB: NO, NOT THE TRUCK!

(BOOM!!!)

As well as the scene when the dog was chasing them with the stick of dynamite with the fuse going.

Yes, it was 1967 Chevrolet Impala but when Mythbusters did this myth, they used a 1966 model and they proved that the JATO rocket could not make the car take off in 3 feet in the air, it just make the car go faster.

ahight USi was looking on ebay at 2003-2006 models and didn't see a difference. first i thought it was the grill, then the wheels, then the headlights...nope. unless 2004 was the only year of those wheels, black grill and lack of wheel arches, but it matches a 2003, 2004 and 2006 that has the same features too. so i'm back to thinking it's the grill...so my guess would be 2006 because of the chrome trim around the grill?

G-MANN UKWell that's a bit of a blooper, isn't it! In the film he accelerated the car to 50mph before he activated the rocket, so he would have have to have been in drive for that. Unless he was trying to slow the car down by putting it back in park (so it's more likely they've just made a blooper). 2007-08-23 14:10

G-MANN UKThat's the whole point of the Darwin Awards, they are "awards" given to people who die in such ridiculous ways through sheer lack of common sense, that it is considered a good thing that they've died because they've removed themselves from the gene pool. This idea kind of relates to Darwinism, that the weak, less advanced people get left out in the process of natural selection.
