1974 Chevrolet LUV Mikado Pimp My Ride (2004-2007)	XThUnDeRX	To this day, I'm still amazed that in all of the trucks that made an appearance on the show, a Chevrolet LUV managed to be in a condition where it needed a /pimping/. And I'll say, though not the greatest design, I can admittedly say I liked the final result. The blue is striking, the flames are an interesting touch, and the wheels are acceptable. Oh and who would not want to have all that stuff that was added to the trunk? (Though it throws out the idea of still using it to carry groceries or bags I suppose.) I've seen people do worse jobs to their LUV, that's why I can admittedly say I like this.	2012-11-29 14:35
1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Pimp My Ride (2004-2007)	XThUnDeRX	You can either restore a beauty or ruin a beauty. Pimp My Ride to me is infamous for always scrambling up these two at any given time. And here's a good example of that. This Trans Am has lost it's charm with the black paint being swapped for a silver with blue tint to it, which to me isn't really a defining colour of the Trans Am. The Bird logo put on isn't really spectacular, and then ofcourse comes the un-necessary mesh grille in the front and the large wheels. Oh and there was a coffee maker in the arm rest. Yep. 1985 Ford Ranger XL Pimp My Ride (2004-2007)	XThUnDeRX	Yet again, one of my more favourite /pimps/ that they have done. I love the spicy tangy orange that they went for the truck, rather made it unique to see. The tribal graphics were also acceptable and the choice of wheels were also more preferred by me, mostly since they didn't make it TWEENNNTYY OOONNNESS or higher. I think this is also one of, if not, the ONLY episode they actually fitted a Gamecube into a car? Sadly, the person who had owned the truck (Jared) has since sold it off, and now someone else owns this unique Ranger.	2012-11-29 14:24
1967 Ford Mustang Pimp My Ride (2004-2007)	XThUnDeRX	It still BAFFLES me that they managed to find a '67 Mustang that needed a /pimping/ job. I expected more of a Fox-Body Mustang to appear (which it ironically did, just a few episodes later), but not this. However, the owner of the car was a cute Cali girl who managed to knock down Xzibit because she was so /excited/ to see him. The finished result probably remains one of my favourite /pimps/. They didn't go overboard on it at all, as they kep the paint simple and gave it more of a restored look on the exterior and interior. The wheels ofcourse, could've been different. They were at one point about to put a FLAMETHROWER exhaust modification into the car, but it had to be removed because such modifications are considered illegal.	2012-11-29 14:13

1992 Honda Civic [EG] Pimp My Ride (2004-2007)	XThUnDeRX	Few notes: 1. This was episode 1.04 , not 1.05. 2. (In response to Knight_2000) Christine (the girl on the show who got this Civic /pimped/) returned on the special "Where are they now?" episode, and admitted to Xzibit that 3 days after the premiere of the show on Television, her grandma had died. So this episode was quite infamous since the girl was hysterically crying in happiness to see Xzibit and to see her car get pimped, which was the complete opposite reaction of the previous 3 who had appeared up to that point. I've never digged Civics much, and this is a good example of that. The purple has such an odd colour tone to it that.. doesn't sit well for me. The actual stripes themselves and the wheels are.. acceptable, but what's up with the choice of Gull-Wing doors? A bit ridiculous I must add.	2012-11-26 17:24

That was, until it was /pimped/. Generally, I really hated the idea they went for in it's design. The wheels and the spoiler made it all worse. 1987 Chevrolet Blazer Silverado [V-5] Pimp My Ride (2004-2007)	Neptune	It’s only really worth gold if its factory correct and in original condition, only someone with more money than common sense would pay top dollar for a modified one. Some can go for over 10,000 USD, but you would be lucky to get half of that out of a modified one, especially in poor condition. Since these have reached collector status, that’s what collectors look for, numbers matching original and in good to excellent condition. Modified examples are frowned upon. This Blazer was apparently not taken care of and has been modified, although it may still have been salvageable in the eyes of a restorer. Handing it over to this show, was not the best idea as they would have modified it even further. It was a Silverado, top-of-the-line, but most of its beauty trim has been removed, most of the Silverado interior appointments were likely removed also. The 15-inch steel Rally wheels with painted Argent Silver finish and polished stainless-steel beauty trim have been replaced by aftermarket wheels. The grille work is missing and either someone painted the headlamp bezels white to match the paint work, or they repainted the vehicle white, and also the bezels to match.	2012-05-02 21:57

The only Daihatsu models officially sold here were the Charade (1988-1992) and the Rocky (1990-1992).
