| 1961 Studebaker Lark Wojna domowa (1965-1966) |
Commander 57 ![]() | Side trim looks to be mounted too high to be a '59-'60. More like '61 or '62. Not a '63 since it still has a wrap-around windshield. (That could be a dual headlamp panel we see. Really too far a way and blurry to tell. Some '61's had single headlamps.) -- Last edit: 2010-03-09 23:23:13 |

| 1966 Renault 16 [R1150] Wojna domowa (1965-1966) |
Weasel1984 ![]() | ![]() 1966 episode - one of the very first ones. The first known possible date of the R16 import begining is November 1966 (first cars had to be delivered by the Polcomex, later, since end of 1967 the GL's were also sold via PeKaO - Motoimport datas are unknown for me). This episode was not filmed in autumn for sure. So it is a private import or we still do not know everything about this model history in Poland. Edit: And indeed, most probably private import. "Motor" 50 (763) from the late 1966 mentions "16's" at the Warsaw's Car Stock Exchange price list. Number of imported this way R16's had to be already quite notable (like for those realities of course), as quite big price differences are to see. The used ones (so one year old at most) costed from 165.000 zł to 200.000 zł. At the same exchange brand new 16's were priced for 220.000. To compare brand new Fiat 850 costed 150.000 zł. Officially imported R16 were sold only for dollars and "bony PeKaO" (with very few exceptions). -- Last edit: 2012-06-05 18:06:09 |
